What wedding would be complete without an adorable flower girl? Okay, not every couple chooses to include one – but you gotta admit, they can be pretty good at stealing the show.
The bride and groom in connection to the video below must have realized how amazing flower girls are. That’s because they picked three to walk down the aisle during their wedding ceremony, which gave everyone better odds something hilarious would go down.
Fortunately for us, the smallest girl didn’t disappoint! It’s a scene that had the entire church bursting at the seams.
If you have a wedding, it’s a good idea to get it in your head that not everything will go as planned. Sometimes too, the little mishaps can lead to the best memories of all.
The internet is a smorgasbord of funny videos from people’s big days. Who can forget the yelling flower girl, or the groom that caused an uproar of laughter fumbling his vows? It’s gems like these that make watching strangers’ weddings quite entertaining.
In this clip, three flower girls are beginning their descent towards the altar. Although they’re three different ages, they’re all wearing the same polka dot dress and flower crown (so precious!).
Each one has a small basket of rose petals to sprinkle along the aisle during their walk. While the older two can be seen dropping their petals as they go along – the smallest of the group doesn’t seem to be making much of a dent in her supply.

According to Our Everyday Life, one of the things petals symbolize is fertility. The site also provided a little more fun background on the tradition.
“In the ceremony, the flower girl always walks in front of the bride. She represents the young and pure girl, who adds sweetness and joy to the ceremony. She throws out the petals, which symbolize the transition of the bride into a loving and passionate wife. Originally, the petals may have also been used to ward off evil spirits, so the flower girl walking in front of the bride would protect her on her wedding day.”
When the trio gets to the end of the aisle, the taller ones sprinkle their last few petals and head off to where they’re supposed to go. But the youngest munchkin, well, her basket isn’t exactly empty yet. So what’s a girl to do?
In a rushed fashion, the girl starts throwing fistfuls of flowers down on the ground. It’s as if she knew she had a job, and yes – she was determined to finish it!
The church can’t help but crack up as the little one frantically works to empty her basket of petals. Once she’s finally done, they all cheer as she scurries up to the altar. It’s a scene that’s both funny and makes you say “aww” at the same time.
