American rapper Brandon Paak Anderson, better known by his stage name of Anderson .Paak, released his own rendition of the viral beatbox challenge.
With an appearance from Anderson’s son, the final outcome was nothing short of spectacular. The duo boasts some serious beatbox skills! Anderson’s wife, Jaylyn, also serves as an active member of her community’s church choir.
This is one musically-inclined family!
The beatbox challenge took the nation by storm as an instrument-free way to showcase one’s talents.
The final result of the beatbox challenge involved thousands of participants recording their own beatbox variations. From children to celebrities, everyone was in on the fun.
The best part of this challenge is that it was completely free, requiring zero props and no instruments.
Even if someone had never beatboxed before, this viral challenge allowed individuals to break out of their comfort zones. They were able to try something completely new in the comfort of their own homes. Couples even competed against one another in an extreme effort to reign victorious.
Some participants discovered a few of their hidden talents, as well.
This video from Anderson .Paak is no exception. The video begins with a display of Anderson and his son, Soul Rasheed, in their family kitchen.
This duo is keeping things casual! It doesn’t always have to be glitz and glam.
Anderson gives the initial beat, and he makes beatboxing look too easy! A few seconds later and his son joins in, but he’s not beatboxing.
His son is full-on singing, and he has some serious vocal talent! The best part is that Soul Rasheed isn’t solely singing—he is also playing video games while maintaining a near-perfect pitch!
A few more seconds pass and the father-son duo makes a quick vocal harmony.
They are changing notes perfectly! It is truly music to our ears.
What’s even more impressive is that the duo keeps perfect focus in such a busy kitchen.
Even mom is totally focused on her own work, as well. A few more beats and vocal harmonies later and the duo is almost at the end of their beatbox challenge.
The ending comes with a surprise twist as Anderson’s son steals the show!
Soul Rasheed breaks out into a solo session, and he’s better than anything we could’ve expected.
Soul is offering up his own vocal talents, and he’s not holding back. He is truly amazing! He already has the hair of a superstar—now je just needs a record label!
Even Anderson seems caught off-guard by the young boy’s talents.
Soul Rasheed has already made several accompanied appearances with his father on red carpets. He’s even been in a music video! It seems that Soul Rasheed may give his dad a run for his money!
We’re excited to see all that the young star accomplishes before he’s even a teen. He’s truly a young talent!
