If there’s one thing we can learn from the dance scene of today, it’s that even the classic ones never truly die.

In Munich, a congregation of dancers gathered to show their passion for the art.

Among these artists is brother-sister tandem Grzegorz & Agnieszka Cherubińska.

The siblings are part of the competition Rock that Swing.

The crowd cheered and hollered as the two literally kick-stepped their way to the center of the stage.

The synth instruments blasted out a very familiar tone, especially those who have lived through a bygone era – Kenny Loggins’ Footloose.

They continued together with a set of sidesteps before transitioning smoothly to a rapid kick step.

They make it look so easy, but this may be one of the reasons why swing is still popular today.

Swing has a lot of variations and it takes a lot of skill to be a good dancer.

Dance competitions have sprouted around the world, including where the Cherubińskas are performing.

The physical and creative demands of the genre helped it endure the test of time as dancers competed to prove their mettle.

The moves require control, timing, and creativity much like how the siblings show it off to the roaring audience members.

The siblings have trained to be dancers at an early age.

They have over two decades of swing experience between the two of them.

They are also staples in different competitions around the world and have taught Boogie Woogie and Lindy Hop to aspiring dancers.

They are also 7-time Polish Champions, European Champions, and Vice-World Champions.

The siblings only stopped competing in 2017.

They opened SwinG&Art in 2021.

Their dance school is based in Warsaw, Poland where they also run a café and an ice cream parlor. Is there something these siblings can’t do?

The way they move is just so mesmerizing.

It’s so easy to get lost in their well-synchronized routine.

You can tell by the way they move from quick steps to push and pull that they’ve been doing this for a long time.

At one moment, they displayed sheer athleticism and acrobatics, when Grzegorz lifted and spun Agnieszka with just a strand of fabric.

The video has gained over 1 million views when it was posted last year.

It only goes to show that many people are so impressed by their talent and that the genre is still alive after all these years.

People all over the internet shared their thoughts about the performance.

“My favorite part is that they’re beaming the entire time. It’s fantastic!” said one commenter.

“Now that, I say, was outstanding dancing. They were both having fun!” added another “That’s what really counts.”

Rock that Swing has always been one of the main events in the world of swing dancing.

The competition has been going on for more than a decade and boasts a roster of talented dancers from all over the world.

In a week, the festival hosts competitions, workshops, and various talent shows both from dancers and bands.

Some of the workshops they give are for Lindy Hop, Boogie Woogie, Charleston, Balboa, and Shag.
