There’s just something really cool about flash mobs because you’re always in for a treat when you start seeing people dancing or singing out of nowhere in public places.
A young man named Paul from London thought it would a fantastic idea to organize a flash mob to propose to his girlfriend Lee, and he quickly arranged for a couple of talented musicians and dancers to help him out.
Paul wanted to make the proposal to his girlfriend memorable, and that was certainly the case.
Of course, his girlfriend Lee had no idea what he was up to and certainly couldn’t have imagined that Paul orchestrated an amazing flash mob with over three dozen people involved.
Paul took her to a cozy restaurant in the center of the city and made sure that everything was perfectly arranged.
The two lovebirds sat at the table for a little bit, but Paul quickly makes an excuse to leave the table.
Of course, this is the perfect moment for the flash mob to start, and Lee is still completely unsuspecting of the entire thing.
Their friend Jamie helped Paul out to organize the entire event and was a little bit nervous that Lee would spot the cameras before Paul could pop the question.
“I don’t think she’s that observant, so the hope is that she’ll be completely oblivious to the four large cameras that are pointed at her,” he told BBC.
Luckily, Paul’s spouse didn’t spot any of the hidden cameras and also still didn’t have any idea that all the people around her were ready to give a performance.
After Paul leaves, a couple of violinists start playing nearby.
The notes of the fantastic song “All of Me” by John Legend start playing and as you’d expect, Lee is a tad surprised to witness an impromptu performance.
However, it doesn’t stop with just the violinists, because soon all the people around her start dancing and singing along to the beautiful song.
Lee is simply enjoying the spectacle and still doesn’t have the slightest thought that this flash mob was orchestrated just for her.
When Paul shows up with a guitar in his hands, she starts to realize that it was her boyfriend’s idea all along.
She immediately becomes emotional and is noticeably touched by the gesture, but the most beautiful and heartwarming moment of all was yet to come.
The singers in the flash mob quietly transitioned into the background as Paul took the center stage and started singing solo.
The young woman can’t believe what’s she’s witnessing and is clearly overcome with emotion.
After his performance, Paul asked his girlfriend to accompany him on the small stage.
He gets on his knees and pops the important question in front of the flash mob group and a small crowd.
She said yes! This amazing couple is officially engaged in what can only be described as one of the coolest and most original proposals ever.
After a passionate kiss and hug, the flash mob crew switched songs and started dancing and singing Pharell Williams’ hit song “Happy”. The engaged couple quickly found themselves surrounded by a bunch of enthusiastic dancers.
It didn’t take long before Paul and Lee gladly joined them and busted out some awesome moves of their own, with some champagne in hand!
