Whether it’s a smaller act between two lovebirds or a bigger, more public surprise, a marriage proposal usually calls for some planning.
For his part, Jamin Love thought the same thing and organized a flash mob proposal.
As it turns out, the couple’s been together for almost six years.
Before any proposal happens, first you’ll hear a man in love explaining himself.
With a little help from his fellow dancers from Marvels Dance Company, Jamin thought the whole choreography through.
He says that his long time girlfriend deserves a big surprise, and we couldn’t agree more.
We also find out that they’re both dancers, which makes this kind of surprise super relatable to both of them. Valerie Albania is the lucky girl, and it’s amazing how she’s not suspecting anything as she walks through Downtown Disney.
We almost felt the same excitement as Jamin did before the whole thing started!
He admitted being very nervous, and it’s completely understandable. As he talked about September 25th being the happiest day of his life we were on the edge of our seats, cheering for him. It’s clear that Jamin’s love is a huge source of inspiration for him!
Jamin said that he wanted to capture “the pureness of every angle, every smile, every wiped tear… just everything.”
The cameraman must have heard him because the results are phenomenal. You get to see a dancing crew on the whole screen, with a smaller screen in the bottom right angle where Val’s reaction is shown.
The song of choice is “Marry You” by Bruno Mars, and it’s the perfect song for this type of event.
A couple of girls start the dance off, but the real deal is when Jamin jumps in!
First, you’ll see two girls busting some awesome moves to “Marry You” before a third dancer appears.
In a blink of an eye, a couple more dancers step on the improvised stage as the crowd cheers them on. The audience screams the loudest as Jamin joins in.
We’re not sure if everyone figured out that it’s a proposal flash mob going on, but as soon as Jamin started his act, everyone understood.
That’s when the camera switches to Valerie, and their friends push her towards Jamin.
He comes closer, goes down on one knee, and pops the question.
His lucky girl is in tears, she only manages to nod her head affirmatively. The ring seals the deal and Valerie tucks herself in Jamin’s hug!
The way the two hold each other is the only thing you need today to be touched by the magical power of love.
All we can say is congratulations to the happy couple!
Both Jamin and Valeria are directors at Marvels Dance Company, and it’s obvious the duo is very much loved at their studio.
The way their friends did everything to make their happy day special is simply touching. The couple got married in May 2012, and from what we’ve heard, it was a very multicultural wedding. Their wedding photos are amazing!
