There are few people who achieve the levels of iconic that Elvis Presley reached. The king of rock made such an image of himself that he became the model superstar for many male American performers.

His quiff, that deep voice, and the white outfit and guitar are all symbols of a legend thanks to him.

And when you’re a cultural powerhouse like Elvis, you’re bound to draw in some flattering impersonations.

Even long after his death, Elvis impersonations are still ever-popular. It was the same story with Michael Jackson and Bruce Lee. When you shape pop-culture forever, people won’t ever forget.

So here, we’re taking a look at 3 of our favorite Elvis Presley impersonators from some talent shows.

The first of our Presley impersonators appeared on America’s Got Talent.

One look at him and you’d be blown away at the uncanny, almost indistinguishable resemblance to Elvis.

Are we sure this isn’t really Elvis himself back from the dead? Is it a clone? It looks exactly like him.

That voice sure sells it even more.

Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you, but this Elvis on America’s Got Talent isn’t real. Or at least, the face isn’t.

It’s a deepfake, one of those AI-generated face-swaps that have everyone excited and worried all over the world.

There’s special cameras aimed at the performer’s faces to do some simple motion-capture while the AI puts Elvis’ face, as well as the judges, over the singers while the result is output to a screen behind them.

Now, onto one with a lot less digital trickery. Meet Joseph Hall, who performed “Hound Dog” on America’s Got Talent in 2008.

“Hound Dog” seem to be a favorite song of choice for a lot of these copycats. You can’t deny it’s a quintessential Elvis song, right?

And it shows. When Joseph sang the first few words with a perfect tune and perfect mimicry of Presley’s voice, the crowd erupted. America loves Elvis, and it’s easy to win them over with a good impression.

Joseph is no slouch. He’s got Elvis’ voice, and his moves too.

There’s no makeup or tricks here, besides the hairstyle and the outfit. Joseph is pure talent, and the crowd and judges alike are having a hell of a time watching him.

I guess I don’t need to tell you that he got a standing ovation. Much deserved, Joseph. You sound just like him!

We’ve still got one more Elvis copycat to look at, and this one’s from Spain’s Got Talent.

Even Spain’s got a pretty large fanbase for Elvis. We shouldn’t be too surprised, really. This is Elvis Dreams, and unlike the previous Elvis on here, he did opt for some makeup to sell the look a bit more.

He doesn’t need anything else to sell the voice, though, because he’s got it.

That’s unmistakably Elvis’ pitch and singing style, and he mimics it pretty well.
