Well, sometimes, celebs prove that they do what we do on their own!
Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke sat down with late night host Jimmy Fallon to promote her new movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Honestly, I could not love her more if I tried! Every interview she does proves how sweet, silly, and charming she is.
While on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Emilia goofed around with the host. Apparently, she can’t do a Wookiee impression, even though she’s in a Star Wars movie!
Before diving into the impression, Emilia discussed what it was like to work on a Star Wars movie. She told Jimmy about how funny it is to work with the puppeteers who get really into what they’re doing.
“So you’ve got this creature coming at you, and you’re like, ‘oh, that’s frightening,’ and then there’s this dude making all of the faces, like while controlling it.”
While asking for more behind-the-scenes secrets, Jimmy prompted Emilia to elaborate on young Chewbacca in the movie. Apparently, Chewbacca even has some lines in the movie!
However, it is actually just “Chewie lines” in the dialogue according to Emilia. What fans will hear are Wookiee sounds, not real words. Though, if you’ve watched the movies, you know that Han Solo can always understand Chewbacca!
This conversation prompted the world’s worst, yet still the best, Wookiee impression from Emilia Clarke.
Jimmy tried – and failed – to do an impression himself. Then he gave Emilia two lines from the movie and asked her to translate them into Wookiee.
She really did try! Honestly, the impression is hilariously bad, but Emilia and Jimmy laughing at how bad the impression is made it even funnier.
The video already has over 2.3 million views on Facebook and 1 million views on YouTube. On Facebook, the post has over 2,000 shares, 20,000 likes, and over 1,000 comments.
One commenter said how much they love her:

Another Facebook commenter ignored the impression and instead focused on the new Star Wars movie coming out:
I’m looking forward to seeing Emilia Clarke playing as the main woman in Solo. The movie looks good. Not great or spectacular, but it has a fun tone that resembles old school sci fi adventure. I expect it to be at least one of the best of this summer.
