Besides, they say that energy is contagious so why not spread some joy and love? The world can never have too much of those things. Maybe that’s why YouTube performer Grace Thomas uploaded her high-energy and fun-filled swing dancing video.

Thomas runs a YouTube channel where she uploads videos of her singing, dancing, and even playing the guitar. Her page doesn’t have as many videos as her peers because she doesn’t upload her work as frequently.

Still, she has over 8,000 subscribers and boasts over 2 million total views of her videos. It’s quite impressive.

The most recent video she uploaded is titled, “NEW Electro Swing Dance Freestyle: Lost in the Rhythm, Jamie Berry Feat. Octavia Rose #neoswing.” It was uploaded on December 11th of this year.

Maybe it was a good idea to use the word “new” in the title because her loyal fans definitely flocked to it! The video has over 120,000 views already! When you watch it, you can easily see why. The young lady is talented!

Most people can identify a swing tune when they hear one. Electro swing has all of the elements of vintage swing and jazz music combined with elements of house, hip hop, and EDM. It’s a very “dance-floor focused sound” and full of energy.

In other words, don’t be surprised if you feel the desire to dance when these tunes play through the speakers! You likely won’t be the only one on the dance floor.

Thomas wastes no time starting her video with fancy footwork and arm movement to match. She uses the entire space of the dance floor to shuffle from side-to-side and front-t0-back. With fluid movements and a look of determination, her routine is seamless.

It’s important to note that she is dancing without any shoes on (only socks) so if you plan on trying out this fancy footwork yourself, do be careful! Not only do you not want to appear as if you have two left feet, but you want to remain on them!

About a minute and a half into the routine, she speeds up her footwork, believe it or not. We’re talking performing full steps and high leg raises. It’s difficult to even keep up just watching the video.

The best part is the smile she maintains on her face throughout. She’s having a blast which makes the viewer enjoy the experience as well. Perhaps, almost as much as she is herself. We may not know how to do the dance steps ourselves (yet!) but we can easily live vicariously through her!

As the video comes to an end, a little boy runs out of the room in the background. It’s funny because he’s clearly trying to avoid being seen. Still, it doesn’t take away from how fun the video was.
