Elizabeth Alexandra Mary was born on 21 April 1926. She ascended to the throne on the 2nd of June, 1953. 70 years is a long time!

One such artist willing to serenade the Queen and her people is Ed Sheeran. He looks really good in a suit as he holds his trademark guitar. The song is his beloved ballad “Perfect”.

This time, Ed dedicates it to the Queen.

The video starts with Sheeran singing on stage before pictures of the monarch are shown one after the other.

Imagine living a life like hers. Or just to be born of royal blood.

Elizabeth’s reign is marked by her duty and devotion to a life of service, seeing her become the most traveled monarch.

She’s been present for the UK and the Commonwealth in all those decades of change.

She deserves this celebration and she deserves to be serenaded by Sheeran.

Her Majesty visits charities and schools, hosts visiting Heads of State, and leads the family and country in all their important milestones and celebrations.

The Royal Family have their share of controversies but they are human like us and the Queen handles them with grace.

The Queen is connected to over 600 charities, military associations, professional bodies and public service organisations.

We’re talking about well-established international charities to smaller bodies.

No amount of videos or slideshows can capture the monarch’s lifetime of service.

Sheeran wrote this song back in 2017 for Cherry Seaborn, his then girlfriend and soon to be wife.

It’s fast become a favorite for many aspiring singers and musicians and it’s not hard to see why. It’s got a catchy melody that’s easy to follow, play, and sing.

The lyrics turned out great and it works for this platinum celebration too!

The Queen is 96 and it’s just better to celebrate her life while she’s still with us.

A viewer named Mar S commented, “Absolutely best performance overall! So fitting that Ed Sheeran closed the festivities with his beautiful song. I’m sure the Queen loved it! Perfect ending to a wonderful, memorable celebration!”

And surely, even though there’s no such thing as a perfect reign, the Queen did her best since she loves her country.

Would you look at that crowd. It’s like the entire nation showed up for the festivities.

United as one, they showed their love for the ruling monarch, singing Ed’s words to her together.

Ed hasn’t missed a beat either. He is still a fantastic musician and performer. Someone the Queen herself is surely proud of having during her celebration.
