According to the Rock That Swing Facebook page:

“Every evening, you can rock and swing to some of the hottest bands at stylish events and share unforgettable dances with your friends and dance enthusiasts from all around the world. The highlights of the Rock That Swing Festival are the two big dance nights with competitions, shows of the champions and the teacher’s show at the beautiful and elegant Deutsches Theater in the city center of Munich.”

At the end of the big dance nights, all of the dancers get together for one massive Killer Boogie dance.

The Boogie dance, also known as the Boogie Woogie, has been around since the 1950s. In fact, back then it was called the “rock and roll dance”. According to Wikipedia:

“Boogie-woogie as a competition dance is a led dance, not choreographed, and can contain acrobatic elements.”

Sounds exciting, right? So, as you can imagine, when dozens of dancers get together to perform a “Killer Boogie,” it’s probably going to be pretty epic – and it certainly is. These pro dancers in the video certainly did not disappoint!

The video starts with two men, clad in old-timey, swing-style suits – Rasmus Holmqvist and Marcus Koch – smiling, clapping, and waiting for the music.

When the music officially starts, that’s when the performance hits high energy! With the sound of the first few notes of the song, all of the dancers’ feet get to work – quickly hopping, skipping, and sliding across the dance floor, never missing a beat.

It’s clear that all of these dancers have quite a few years under their belts because the precision is absolutely impeccable. Although, they seem to make the dance moves look completely effortless – like they’re floating!

The song accompanying the dancers is called “Killer Boogie” by Dutch piano player Jan Rietman.

Both Marcus and Rasmus in the front of the pack are hard to keep your eyes off of – however, every single dancer behind them is just as impressive. Watching all of their feet move so quickly and precisely is just absolutely mesmerizing!

Of course, once the video was uploaded, commenters on YouTube had a lot to say.

“I clicked going, “ok, whatever.” Then I started smiling -and never stopped. This made me happy. I watch it regularly now when I want to smile. I love the two main ones in front and everybody behind them just having a blast doing it their own way. Man, what a killer idea! I can’t dance but a I think I would love this,” said one commenter.
