The music world is buzzing with excitement.

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, the two surviving members of the legendary Beatles, have come together once again.

This time, they’ve teamed up with the iconic Dolly Parton for a fresh take on the classic “Let It Be.”

Dolly’s rendition, led by her soulful piano, not only features McCartney and Starr but also includes the talents of Peter Frampton and Fleetwood Mac’s very own Mick Fleetwood.

Dolly Parton, ever the enthusiast, took to Twitter to share her joy.

“Well, does it get any better than singing ‘Let It Be’ with Paul McCartney who wrote the song? Not only that, he played piano,” she exclaimed.

But the surprises didn’t stop there.

“Well, it did get even better when Ringo Starr joined in on drums, Peter Frampton on guitar, and Mick Fleetwood playing percussion. I mean, seriously, how much better does it get?” she continued.

McCartney, not one to be left out of the conversation, responded with equal warmth:

“Thanks Dolly for doing my song. I love your version and am very pleased to be by your side on this one. Rock on!”

While McCartney and Starr have collaborated recently, notably on Starr’s tracks “Here’s to the Nights” and “We’re on the Road Again,” it’s rare to see them come together for Beatles covers.

This collaboration is particularly special as it’s a part of Dolly Parton’s upcoming album, “Rockstar.”

Dolly’s journey with rock music has been an interesting one.

Last year, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Initially hesitant, she felt she hadn’t “earned the right” since she wasn’t primarily a rock artist.

However, she later promised fans a rock’n’roll album, and “Rockstar” is set to be that very album.

Speaking about the album, Dolly expressed her gratitude and excitement:

“I am very honoured and privileged to have worked with some of the greatest iconic singers and musicians of all time. To be able to sing all the iconic songs throughout the album was a joy beyond measure.”

“Rockstar” is shaping up to be a monumental release.

It’s Dolly’s 49th album and boasts a whopping 21 covers of timeless classics.

But that’s not all; the album will feature nine original tracks by Dolly herself.

With over 40 guest artists spread across its 30 tracks, it promises a musical experience like no other.

The list of collaborators reads like a who’s who of the music industry.

Apart from the former Beatles, the album will feature collaborations with big names like Miley Cyrus, Sheryl Crow, Lizzo, Elton John, Chris Stapleton, Stevie Nicks, and Sting.
