Most of the times, he’s accompanied by his colleague and good friend Dr. Robinson who gives him assistance on the piano.

Both doctors work at the Orthopaedic Surgery department of the hospital. Whenever these two have a couple of minutes to spare, they go ahead and give a performance everyone appreciates.

One day, Elvis decided to post a video of the two on his Facebook page – but he certainly didn’t expect his post to go viral. His performance of a beautiful song has been seen over two million times, and these two became internet superstars overnight.

“As health care providers we often meet people at their greatest time of need … and sometimes the best gift you can give is a simple reminder that everything will be alright…” the man wrote as a caption.

The song choice is also perfect in “Alright” by Mike Yung, with great lyrics that are sure to cheer up the patients in the hospital in a distressing time.

The man has also performed countless of other songs, including “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis, “Stand By Me” by Ben E King and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” by Marvin Gaye. He’s a talented performer who can sing in multiple genres.

“It’s almost like breathing, I just do it so much that I don’t really even think about it as something that’s seperate from every day,” the man told to CBS Minnesota.

“Music has a such a medicinal quality to it, you know, if you’re feeling great, a good song can give you an extra added boost. If you’re not feeling too good, music can be something that soothes you.”

Even though Dr. Francois has a great voice, his true passion lies in helping people as a doctor.

“Since I was maybe, five or six, the first thing I wanted to do was to go into medicine.”

These two doctors have been an inspiration for many. Parents of patients in the hospital have sent them messages, telling him that they could gather courage from his songs.

“Hearing those stories, I think, has been the most, the most pressing part and what I really enjoy the most about those things. Now that I can share that with people, I’m happy to do so. As long as it makes people’s days just a little bit brighter.”
