Wreck-It Ralph is back and he is ready to break the internet!
After the success of Wreck-It Ralph in 2012, the gang is back for a sequel. And quite a few more people have joined the party. In the original film, the main character and video game “villain” Wreck-It Ralph is tired of being the bad guy.
Ralph is tired of losing to Fix-It Felix and does something unprecedented in arcade history – he leaves his game. Ralph just wants the chance to prove that he can be a hero too.
Because it is a Disney movie, Ralph does get the chance to prove he’s a hero, but all because his choices put everyone else in danger!
It is a great movie for kids and adults, so it is a no-brainer that the film got a sequel. Especially because Ralph is such an endearing not-villain, and the character Vanellope Von Schweetz proves to be a great comedic relief.
For the sequel, Ralph and Vanellope are going to leave the arcade and they’re heading to the internet!
Six years after the events of “Wreck-It Ralph,” Ralph and Vanellope, now friends, discover a wi-fi router in their arcade, leading them into a new adventure.
When Disney released a teaser image on Twitter before the trailer dropped, fans freaked out. It has been revealed at the D23 Expo that every Disney princess would be in Wreck-It Ralph 2.
However, in the teaser image, every Disney princess was not included. Many fans wanted to know where the missing princesses were. Noticeably missing from the teaser were Mulan, Ariel, and Merida.
Fans quickly debated that Mulan wasn’t included because she isn’t technically a princess. However, according to Disney standards, Mulan’s heroic rescue and protection of all of China deemed her a princess. So, avid fans were quick to shut that idea down.
Other people wanted to know how one of the most popular princesses of the last 80 years could be missing. Ariel from The Little Mermaid is easily one of the most recognizable Disney princesses.
But fear no more! Now that the trailer for Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 has been released, we know for sure that our princesses are all there.
The trailer shows Ralph and Vanellope entering the internet, where they see the other side of Facebook, Google, Snapchat, Twitter, and more.
Disney even pokes fun at their massive empire, showing an “Oh My Disney” section where Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Muppets, and the princesses all live.
It is there that Vanellope (who is a princess herself) meets the princesses and has the most hilarious interaction with them all. Cinderella holds a broken glass slipper up to protect herself!
The coolest thing about this is that this is the first movie to include every Disney princess. Not only that, all of the original (living) voice actresses have returned to voice their character. The voice actresses who are no longer with us are Helene Stanley (Cinderella) and Adriana Caselotti (Snow White).
