The video was filmed in 2018, on the streets of Brussels.

“The boy plays Despacito better than anyone I’ve ever heard, and it is my honor to share this wonderful and amazing footage,” says Dr. Rajiv Jha. Mr. Jha is a neurosurgeon who was just passing by and heard the amazing boy, and felt the need to film it.

He can’t be more than 15 years old, but his playing style is mature, energetic and very passionate.

It’s clear that the young busker feels the music, and he’s pouring his heart out to anyone who cares to listen to him. We would seriously love it if someone interviewed the boy and found out more information about him.

His stage presence is calm and unintrusive.

The boy actually seems very shy—it’s almost as if he uses the music to express himself. We love that he lets all of his music do the talking. Thanks to him, so many people came together on a cloudy day—and you can see a lot of people smiling. When he finished the song, everyone burst into loud applause!

Always tip the street musician if his performance made you stop and listen!

It’s a rule that everyone knows even though it’s not written down anywhere. Even so, that’s not what happens at the end of the video.

Without a doubt, street buskers have to show a lot of musical integrity.

Children across the world busk to earn money, which is sometimes very concerning—after all, kids are very vulnerable to strangers and other dangers.

Whatever the case is, we sure were thrilled to hear the boy play—after all, we never would have heard of him if he hadn’t gone out in the streets that day with his accordion.

Although there’s no way to track him down so far, we wish him the best of luck in his musical endeavors. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that someone will recognize that talent really soon and sign the boy!
