Dancers Show Evolution Of Dance From The 1920s To Today
Over 13 million people have watched this talented pair of dancers twist and step their way through time!

Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy are an incredible pair of British dancers who have been performing together since 2010. The pair specialize in street dancing. They met while at BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology, and they decided to form a dance duo called Twist and Pulse.

In 2010, Glazebrook and Murphy auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent. They ended up coming in fourth place!

After that, Glazebrook and Murphy got more and more opportunities to showcase their incredible moves. They performed all over Britain, and they even danced in the 2012 Olympics in London.

In 2013, Twist and Pulse had another major achievement. The dance duo broke the Guinness World Record for the most synchronized dance moves in 30 seconds. They did 137 moves in total.




Twist and Pulse also regularly post videos on their YouTube page. In 2017, they posted a video that showcased the evolution of dance.

The incredible, energetic video begins with the 1920s. For this decade, the pair did the Charleston together! Then, for the 1930s, they did a synchronized dance that included some very fashionable top-hats.

The pair continued moving through the decades. They danced to big band music for the 1940s, and then they put on their best leather jackets and danced to “Jail House Rock” for the 1950s.

For the 1960s, the pair put on some colorful outfits and did a groovy dance! Then, they naturally danced to disco for the 1970s.

For the 1980s, Twist and Pulse chose to dance to a hip-hop song. They were able to show off their amazing street dancing moves, and they even did some handstands!

Finally, the pair danced to “It’s Tricky” for the 1990s. Then, for the 2000s, they did a few different songs, including “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” and “You’re a Jerk.”

The video quickly went viral, receiving over 13 million views. Everyone loved Twist and Pulse’s amazing dance moves!

Twist and Pulse have shared many other fun videos on their YouTube channel showcasing their unique dance style. One video shows the pair doing a fun dance mashup featuring some of the top songs of 2018.




Another video shows the pair doing Harry Potter style dances!
