If you’ve ever watched a talent show you know people have some pretty wild skills.
People are always finding new ways to shock an audience and it’s insane to see what they’re capable of.
We’ve all seen pitch-perfect singers and incredible dance duets, but have you ever been totally spooked by a performance?
This talented dancer named Natalie Clarke might give you some nightmares.
She debuted her unique skills at the Salsa & Sol Dance Competition in 2016 and left the audience shaking in their boots. Clarke’s production is so much more than just your average dance routine.
It’s a theatrical masterpiece, based on the possessed doll Annabelle from the movie ‘The Conjuring’. This little dolly is not something to mess with.
This bizarre performance started with Clarke being carried out by two others. She looked exactly like Annabelle herself as they placed her on a rocking chair. You could tell immediately that this wasn’t going to be some smiley show. The creepy music started which signaled the doll to make her first moves.
She had the entire audience convinced she was a doll coming to life and you won’t want to miss it!
Clarke moved and twitched with every beat of the song, it was absolutely wild. She stood up out of the rocking chair and slowly came to life.
Clarke contorted her arms and legs so well it seriously looked unreal. How can a human move so tangled up?
This performance had only just begun and it was already giving me the creeps. Clarke’s precise and sharp movements really made her doll character come to life… literally.
The production team def SOL Productions who helped Clarke had marvelous things to say about her.
They captioned this video saying,
“Natalie invested herself 100% into taking on the roll of Annabelle, the possessed doll from the movie ‘The Conjuring’ to showcase the style of animation and give the audience something completely new.”
They definitely weren’t wrong. Clarke created something so real and perfected it had everyone in ‘awe’.
No matter how eery of a performance this is, I have so much respect for her artistry.
It’s one thing to come up with the choreography but it’s another to make those movements have a personality of their own. Clarke seriously sells her Annabelle character and even does a wild back bend at the end that doesn’t even look humanly possible.
This unique show is one to make your head turn sideways, that’s for sure.
Clarke’s doll-like movements, work perfectly with the music they chose. She doesn’t miss a beat which really adds to the intensity of the whole performance. Clarke’s production is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. I think once you see this for yourself, you’ll all agree.
There’s a reason why this video has almost 21 million views on YouTube.
It takes some serious skill for a person to imitate a haunted doll. This award-winning routine might leave you sleeping with one eye open tonight, but it’s definitely worth the watch.
