Gymnastics and dance can be two of the most difficult extracurricular activities for children to be a member of. Dancers and gymnasts need to be strong, flexible, and be able to complete their routines with precise timing. The end result can be show stopping and beautiful when executed perfectly.
These two small artists combined dance and gymnastics to perform a jaw dropping performance.
The two artists were competing in a Zirka Talent Show. Zirka is described as,
“an international festival of talent of amateur art: choreography, circus, vocals, instrumental genre, fashion theaters, acting, as well as online contests for creative people.”
Zirka festivals are performed throughout many European countries. Every Zirka event, that is currently on their schedule, has a talent festival for amateurs and professionals to participate in. These two young performers were participating at one of these talent festivals.
These two girls go by Circus Plastic Etude and they put on a performance where they had to do almost every move perfectly in sync with each other. That can be hard for adult professionals, but these girls make it look so easy! They are perfectly in sync with each other on almost every move.
The performance starts off simple and the audience must have felt it would just be a cute dance with two little girls. The jazzy piece of music that they are performing to definitely sets the tone for a fun time! It does not take long for the girls to show that they have more complex choreography than the audience originally might have thought.
These girls are so flexible that it is shocking!
The girls start to show off their impressive flexibility by grabbing one of their legs with their hand and completely putting in behind their head. They do this all while standing perfectly still on one leg! Then, the girls go straight into tumbling moves. This is when they do not have to do the moves together, but still be in sync to make it work.
The girls start using each other to complete complex and extraordinary choreography. This choreography displays just how talented these little girls are, not only for their age, but for all dancers!
The girls are not done showing how in unison they can be, not only on their feet but on their hands too! This is not your average dance performance, this is a combination of their many talents. These girls are not only flexible, but they are strong. The strength to perform these moves are difficult for anyone and they perform them with ease.
At one point in their performance the girls hold hands while completing a front handspring. They are able to do this only using one hand each! That needs some great balance and strength. The girls do it easily with smiles on their faces the entire time.
The girls actually keep a smile on their faces throughout their entire performance!
Another part of their routine that needed great balance and strength is near the end. The girls are holding their entire body weight on their forearms as their legs are rolled completely in front of their face. It was the perfect move to complete their routine!
