You’re never too old to strut your stuff on the dancefloor, as many mature dancers have proven. Sam West was the latest in line to show that older people could keep up with their younger partners when he took to the floor with Autumn Jones for the 2017 Grand Nationals Carolina Classic dance competition in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Proving that age is just a number, Sam managed to keep up with Autumn throughout the whole routine, swiveling his hips and moving his body to the beat of Bruce Springsteen’s Pink Cadillac, performed by the Boss himself alongside Jerry Lee Lewis.

It’s one of the most impressive dances we’ve seen in a while, with Sam and Autumn simply blowing us away with their magical legs and outrageous abilities.

The song is a moving and grooving sort of number that can get anyone bopping their head and tapping their feet to the beat, but Sam and Autumn did a whole lot more than that!

They took to the floor to put on a shag performance quite unlike any other, shaking their bodies to the beat and twirling around and around.

What’s really impressive about this dancing duo is the incredible control they have over the muscles in their legs. They almost look like jelly at times, flowing from left to right in a way that doesn’t even seem natural!

The audience just can’t get enough of Sam and Autumn’s crazy legs as the pair dance the night away. And for almost four minutes straight, Sam and Autumn totally captivate the crowd with their routine.

Each and every second was clearly planned to perfection, with the pair memorizing every one of their moves and never missing a beat as they twirl each other around and don’t stop moving until the song is over.

One of the most impressive moments in the whole performance comes about halfway through, with Sam taking the lead.

Autumn stands in position as Sam twirls around and then balances himself with one hand on her knee, acrobatically flipping his legs around and pulling off some amazing angular moves, much to the delight of the audience, before the pair resume their routine together.

To win a competition like the Grand Nationals Carolina Classic, you need a whole lot of talent, confidence in your abilities, and a partner you can trust.

Sam and Autumn had every single one of those things, so it was no surprise at all to the audience when they were announced as the 1st place winners of the competition.
