The Urban Dance Camp is the world’s leading intensive dance education.

The idea was born 16 years ago, but it has grown a lot ever since, up to the level where more than 40 countries participate in the project each year. Whether it’s dancers, dance instructors or choreographers, everyone’s welcome.

We didn’t know so many interesting things happened during the UDC, but we were intrigued after seeing a young dancing couple in disguise, dancing to Bob Marley’s song.

What kind of choreography would you pair with a Bob Marley song?

We were thinking about creating a romantic vibe, or maybe a slow routine? Even so, that was before we saw what a creative dancing pair could do with his music—and we’ve changed our opinion completely. As the duo steps on the stage, they are dressed like two older citizens and pretend to have a hard time walking.

Their grey hair and glasses are also part of the story.

As the song begins, they bust a couple of interesting, unexpected moves—but the best is yet to come. From the very beginning, they create tension while at the same time keeping a relaxed atmosphere. It takes a lot of imagination to put together so many moves that are romantic and funny at the same time!

We felt like the whole story of a marriage was unfolding right before our eyes.

Most of their moves were very clever, suggestive and with perfect timing. No wonder the audience cheered them along!

For those who don’t know, Keone and Mariel Madrid are world-renowned dancers.

What we’re seeing here is the performance of two famous and award-winning dancers, choreographers, directors and dance instructors.

What’s more adorable is that the two of them are also married, and they have children. Keone and Mari describe their dance style as a “unique way to tell stories through a detailed style of west coast urban dance.”

Because they have such a versatile style, many doors opened up to them from the very beginning.

Their mutual work has been related to theatre, music videos, films and online platforms so far. One of their most notable projects is that they choreographed and starred in Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” music video.

Still, the pair has collaborated with many famous musicians.

A lot of artists have hired this talented couple, and some of them are Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran, Flying Lotus and Kendrick Lamar.

They currently live and work in New York City, and the most recent project they released is “RUTH.” It’s the first-ever dance book, a unique multimedia experience that combines dance, writing, illustration, music and video.

The book is available on iBooks and Google Play.

They have also co-created, directed and choreographed their first full-length Off-Broadway theater dance show “Beyond Babel.” For more information about their work, visit their website.

We would love to see an actual elderly couple doing this same choreography!

What’s most lovable about the routine is that it’s simple, and any couple could learn to do it.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if people who were married their whole lives danced to this song and used this style? The entire time, the whole audience was laughing and cheering all along.

We can completely understand the excitement because of how beautifully thought through it all was.

It was published in 2013, and it has since earned more than 14 million YouTube views.

We wish this couple the best of luck, and we hope they will keep on dancing until they grow old—just like in the video!
