As they say, some people are just born lucky. This statement seems to ring true looking at the baby in the video below – whose daddy is an incredible musician named Isto.
Who needs stuffed animals when you have your own live entertainment living under the same roof, am I right?
Fortunately, Isto decided to hit record before serenading his son with the 1930s tune, “You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby.” The scene is so heart-melting it kinda makes you want to pinch both of their cheeks!
If you haven’t heard Isto’s music, get ready to fall in love.
There are some voices in this world that you could listen to all day long. Isto (whose real name is Christopher White), has that type of talent and is known for his rich, crooning sound.
He’s a New York-based musician who also teaches the art form as well. Besides singing, Isto can skillfully play the guitar, Hawaiian guitar, and ukulele too.
Isto has more than 14,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel. For years, he’s uploaded his performances for everyone to enjoy.
Along with creating original songs (and being humorous), he covers classic artists like Bob Dylan, Billie Holiday, John Lennon, Ray Charles, and many more. While the scenery in his videos may change – Isto’s ability to soothe your soul certainly doesn’t.
Get ready to feel like you’ve traveled back in time with Isto and his happy little boy.
One day, the bearded musician placed his baby in a bouncer and got out the guitar. While there were a million and one songs he could have sung to him – he definitely made a perfect choice.
Sitting just inches away, Isto begins singing “You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby” to his son. It’s a song from 1938 that was created by Harry Warren and Johnny Mercer.
You can’t wipe the smile off of his face.
The baby is obviously enjoying the performance and it can all be seen in his joyful expressions. How could you not enjoy hearing your daddy sing – especially when he sounds like Isto?
With his old-fashioned voice that sounds like it should be coming from a phonograph, the musician sings:
“You must have been a beautiful baby
You must have been a wonderful child
When you were only startin’ to go to Kindergarten
I’ll bet you drove the little girls wild”
Watching the two together just pulls on your heartstrings.
Throughout the performance Isto’s son coos in response to his dad. Surely he’ll follow in his footsteps one day, or in the least, he’ll always be the number one fan!
Isto even lets his boy strum the guitar after he finishes the song. Yep, there’s definitely music in both their blood, that’s for sure.
What adds to it being so adorable is the sweet way he talks to his baby boy, showing they have a strong bond already. While Isto’s son might not remember every performance that his father gives – thank goodness for cell phones and video cameras.
