You’ve probably seen father-son duos dancing together, but never anything like this.
Stanley Freeland and his 4-year-old son, Josiah, have been dancing together for over two years by now. Stanley regularly posts videos of the father-son pair dancing and singing online to his social media accounts and they have gone viral, for good reason.
Newsflare recently posted a medley showing off some of Stanley and Josiah’s dance moves. In this video, you see the pair dancing in matching outfits to a variety of songs. Their movements are fairly in sync with each other and it is clear that Josiah inherited his father’s love for and skill with dancing.
No matter the video Stanley posts, the two are almost guaranteed to be wearing matching outfits, whether it is white tank tops, plaid tops, or white tops with light yellow shorts.
There are even a few videos where Josiah takes the lead and the spotlight is completely on him, with Stanley dancing off camera. While you will spot a few videos on Stanley’s YouTube channel, the best source is his Instagram account.
When you look at both sources, you will find some of the most popular videos, such as this one where the duo dance and sing along to a fun version of the ABCs.
While Stanley and Josiah don’t always match their outfits, their moves are always highly coordinated with each other.
For Stanley, creating these fun videos with his son is about more than just having fun.
In an interview with Fox 5 DC, he explained that he aims to inspire other dads so they create a strong bond with their kids. He went on to tell reporters:
“I feel father like son videos bring much joy and peace in the world today.”
Stanley’s inspiration came from “seeing my son happy at dances, and seeing him look up to me.”
In addition to a range of videos of the two dancing, Stanley has also shown off the pair’s rendition of the ABC song.
That’s right, the video above of the pair singing and dancing is actually to a song that is their own creation. They combined the ABCs with rap music to make it even easier to learn the alphabet. In fact, that song has become so popular that you can even listen to it on iTunes and Spotify.
Not only does this pair have fun together, but they create educational content. These two know exactly what is important in life and have lots of fun spending time together.
