It’s normal for anybody to feel a little bit of stage fright when coming on stage to perform. Although this isn’t the case for comedian Mike Hanley and his daughter Jessica.

This father-daughter duo puts on quite the performance to a brilliant mash-up tracklist.

It starts off with the classic dance.

This dance isn’t just any ordinary dance, it’s a father-daughter dance filmed during Jessica’s bar-mitzvah. They started off with a traditional slow dance. Little did the crowd know that they had something else up their sleeve and it was going to wow the crowd.

Don’t you want to dance?

Starting off with the wholesome tune of “My Girl” by the Temptations, quickly changed into “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston. With the successful vibe change, the duo acts out a little skit as Jessica is trying to get her father to dance with it. It’s adorable!

Hit it!

Of course, they were about to break into a well-constructed dance routine and the crowd absolutely ate it up. You can hear the excitement as soon as they bust a move to some really universally loved songs. You can tell they put a lot of effort into it.

They choreographed it perfectly.

Not only did they play crowd favorites but they also were really creative about it. At one point the song switches to “Mo “Bamba No.5” by Lou Bega. If you’ve heard the song before you know there’s a line that says, “A little bit of Jessica” and they used that line in the dance since it is Jessica’s bar-mitzvah of course.

They made sure to include some hits too.

Although this was filmed in 2012, they definitely made sure to include some well-known music more curated to the teenagers like “Crank That” by Soulja Boy. A classic dance song you’d hear growing up. Even Michael knew the dance moves that go with the song. What a hip dad!

The crowd went crazy for it.

You can hear cheers, laughter, and a little screaming from the crowd throughout the entire video. I mean who wouldn’t get excited over this performance? They pretty much incorporated every popular song accompanied by its respected dance moves and some of their own choices with added flavor.

They ended it returning casually returning to where they started.

They ended the performance tastefully returning to their traditional father-daughter dance as if none of it just happened. The duo took a bow at the end and then hugging. The two really pulled it off and they did amazing!

This video has gotten over 23 million views since it was posted on Mike’s YouTube. Jessica’s father, Mike Hanley is a famous comedian so this kind of performance wasn’t anything new for him. If you want to check out some of his comedy you can visit his website here.
