One dad and his daughter wowed their audience after performing an epic dance-off. They are absolutely talented!
While other senior high school girls would feel embarrassed when they see their Dads busting out some dance moves, one teenage girl stands proud for having a father just like him.
Keith Tiz’s daughter is about to go to college, and the girl’s school is hosting a program to celebrate the upcoming chapter in their students’ lives. The school’s Senior Year celebration event shows off the graduates and their parents, and this father and daughter duo decided to join in the performances.
They wanted their dance number to be different and it ended up as unique and entertaining as they wanted it to be, that’s for sure!
Keith and his daughter pre-recorded their music so the duo can focus on their dance. The theme of their performance is “old school vs new school” and they did it through a dance-off!
Just as this Dad entered the dance stage, his pre-recorded voice rang loud and clear across the room saying:
“You’re already going to college and you’ve put in a lot of hard work, but I want to remind you, don’t forget to have fun. ‘You know what I’m going to do? I’m going to show you how to get down.”
And get down he did.
Keith suddenly danced and wowed the audience with old school maneuvers, surprising the crowd with his amazing dancing chops and incredible moves. Parents watching him could definitely relate to the moves, probably reminiscing when those moves were big back in the day.
This cool dad’s performance did not end there. He even broke it down and did some breakdancing. Just ‘Wow!’
But, of course, his daughter won’t let him win that easily.
She goes center stage as her voice was heard by the entire room.
“Dad, that’s old. Let me show you how we get down,” she says.
And she started to do her thing and danced energetically, doing some pretty funky moves that would give her Dad a run for his money. She is absolutely awesome! This girl is totally comfortable in her own skin, dancing with pure confidence and talent.
The audience was loving the fun-filled and incredible dance challenge that was going on between this talented pair. They were simply incredible!
Keith and his daughter competed some more, before finally coming together to dance a sweet and charming daddy-daughter dance with a modern twist. Clearly, this father adores his daughter and she is very comfortable goofing around with her dad. Someone in the audience is probably wishing her dad is as cool as Keith!
Watching them glide in each other’s arms while wearing huge smiles in their faces just warm the heart. What an epic college send-off!
