For most girls out there, their father is their protector. Fathers protect their little ones and scare away the monsters in their closets. They’re there to celebrate the good times and wipe away tears from the bad. When a little girl needs something, she knows to run to her Dad— most little ones have him wrapped around their finger.

My dad has gotten me out of a lot of tough messes in my day. Whether he was underexaggerating my misbehavior to my mother or defending me from the unfair principal at school, no one could support me and make me feel more at ease than my father— and it looks like one little girl named Isabella will grow up feeling the same!

Last week, one special father from Hamilton Bermuda, went viral after he was filmed supporting his daughter Isabella in a very special way.

This past May, Isabella and the girls of the In Motion School of Dance had been practicing for their big show.

Sadly, when they got the last dress rehearsal, Isabella was hit with a nasty case of stage fright.

Che Barker, who is married to Lizz Pimentel, the dance school’s owner, immediately noticed the 2-year-old’s discomfort and decided to tell Marc Daniels, her dad. “She was crying and calling for Daddy,” Marc recalled. “I went downstairs to see her, but they were just about to go on stage so there was not a lot of time to comfort her.”

“When she got on stage, she started to get a bit antsy, and Che told me to go out there, so I went out there.”

In a video, shared to the In Motion School of Dance Facebook page, we see Marc take the stage with his daughter and the other tutu-clad ballerinas.

Dressed in a black T-shirt and socks, you see Marc approach Isabella— her 7-month-old sister, Suri, still in his hands.

He makes his way to the side of the stage, encouraging Isabella to dance. But still, the little toddler does not feel comfortable alone.

Seeing his daughter’s discomfort, Marc moves in beside the dancers. In one of the cutest moments I’ve ever seen, he grabs Isabella’s hand and starts improvising the show.

“Rather than just stand there, I watched the other girls, got into character and went along with it,” he told The Royal Gazette.

“I just wanted to make sure my daughter was calm and felt comfortable.”

In the adorable video, Marc leaps and pirouettes beside his daughter, demonstrating his Swan Lake-like skills.

Since being uploaded one week ago, Marc’s impromptu performance has been viewed more than 20,000 times!

“Now I have people approach me saying I have gone viral,” Marc said.

“Some people have been doing pirouettes when they see me walking in town.”

Marc had no idea his ballet performance had gone viral until his wife called to let him know. Soon after, he even received a call from RightThisMinute, a popular viral video show. “It has been awesome for the girls,” he said.

Although Marc is a lawyer by trade, Liz Pimentel, owner of the dance school, said if he gets bored with law, he may have a future on the stage!

“Although we have parents offstage sometimes consoling their nervous little ones, I don’t think anyone expected him to get out on the stage,” she said.

“To top it off by joining in the dancing? Just amazing.”

Since the video has gone viral, people have declared Marc the ultimate Dad of the year.

“I’m crying! That was precious!”

“Whom ever this is HE DESERVES FATHER OF THE YEAR!!! She will remember this!!”

“Loved that he was holding a baby! That made it even sweeter!”

“This is so super cool! Bravo to Marc and to all the dance dads.”
