Who doesn’t like an interesting movie about a foreign country in all its cultural beauty?

The movie Cuba Feliz is something between a documentary and a musical road movie that will take you on a journey around Cuba. The title of the movie means that Cuba is a happy place, and we’re sure that it’s definitely a place where tradition and emotion flourish in music.

A part of the movie is shown in the video, it’s a performance of “Lagrimas Negras,” a famous Cuban bolero song composed in 1929. If it inspires you to see the whole movie, we hope you’ll enjoy it.

It’s an uplifting film about a musician’s journey through his native Cuba.

The movie was directed by Karim Dridi, and the main protagonist is the 76-year-old troubadour named Miguel Del Morales.

He’s nicknamed El Gallo, which means the rooster. It fits him perfectly because he brings music, joy, and a good mood to wherever he appears to with his guitar. The same thing happens in this video. Del Morales is in one Cuban neighborhood accompanied by his fellow musicians and a Cuban woman is at her door, ready to sing “Lagrimas Negras.”

The song’s title translates to “Black Tears,” and it’s a wonderful love song.

Its beauty comes from everything it represents: the culture and tradition of Cuba.

The song is filled with traditional Cuban sayings, and it’s hard to illustrate all the feelings in the song just by translating the lyrics. The song is about a woman who cries because of her lost love. We got to know the soul of Cuba through a beautiful interpretation

The woman sings with her whole heart, and she’s a beautiful singer.

Although the scene is part of a movie, we can see that her performance is spontaneous and intense. She resists at the beginning, as the musicians try to convince her to share the song with them. Three instrumentalists are in front of her house: a guitarist, a cellist and the troubadour.

They greet each other warmly and begin a conversation as if they haven’t seen each other in a while.

Then the music begins, the rhythm moves the lady to get involved.

She’s an excellent singer and delivers the song’s emotion perfectly. The beautiful thing about her singing is the fact that everyone can grasp what the song is about. It’s not required to understand Spanish; this lovely woman will make you understand the song not by the words, but by her heart.

Before long, the neighborhood is drawn into their little concert.

It’s indescribable, and the whole scene looks like from a 50’s movie.

The atmosphere brings the nostalgia of old times. There aren’t modern cars around, houses are simple and small, and it looks like everyone knows each other in that neighborhood. People got out, they share this moment of beautiful music, and there is no one filming it with a phone. Everyone seems to be living in the present and enjoying the performance, and that’s what makes the video unusual, beautiful, attractive, and warm. All the people laugh together, and everyone in the street sings the background vocals. This one song brought so much life to the area.

The movie paints the romantic picture of a country with honest working people who live in harmony and are joined in song.

We love that vision, it’s beautiful and inspiring. Life is never simple, but videos like this offer a simple picture of moments we should cherish more. Since it was posted, 27 million YouTube viewers were reminded of that message and the reasons why Cuba is the most musical isle in Latin America.
