Crowd enjoys day lovely at park – then musicians put on an incredible samba flash mob

Who doesn’t love a good flash mob?

If this video is any evidence, flash mobs are popular all over the world. For those who don’t know, Samba Résille in a nonprofit organization that has been giving samba drumming lessons for almost 30 years. They teach Brazilian rhythms to children, teens, adults and people with disabilities. In this captivating video, Samba Résille puts together an extraordinary flash mob in honor of their 25th-anniversary.

You won’t believe how many drummers they have!

Samba Résille is based in Toulouse, France, and is completely dedicated to helping people learn the art of samba. Back in 2017, the talented teachers and students did an epic flash mob that you won’t want to miss.

At the beginning of the video, one drummer stands in the middle tapping a small drum while another drummer begins taking out his bigger drums to join her.

More and more drummers begin walking up to get in the mix.

One after another, more and more musicians add themselves to the flash mob, each bringing their own unique sounds. In fitting with French tradition, each new drummer also kisses their comrades on the cheek before starting to play.

Before long, there are eight skilled drummers playing a beautiful samba rhythm—but that’s not even the best part.

After they play for a bit, loads of musicians come out of nowhere and the real show begins!

Dozens of musicians with drums and other instruments join the flash mob as well.

Now there are over 30 drummers, all following the lead of one of the first drummers to start playing. It’s hard to believe it can get any bigger, but it does!

Not only do they play some wonderful samba music, but they also dance around together which is why many people use samba for exercise.

A huge crowd has gathered to watch the flash mob, all mesmerized by the soothing sounds and fluid movements.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get better, a massive group of drummers joins the giant flash mob!

What an incredible performance—there are more musicians than the eye can count, flawlessly beating on the drums as one. Their music echos through the square they’re playing at, drawing in more and more music lovers passing by.

The spectacular show gets better and better, and there’s still one grand finale that had people everywhere amazed.

That’s when dozens of people put down their drums and begin dancing in front of the flash mob!

Seemingly out of nowhere, tons of musicians start dancing in traditional samba style.

They do backflips, front flips, cartwheels and high kicks. For the entire last minute, the drummers go off with the dancers, matching their energy with terrific moves.

People on the internet couldn’t get enough of Samba Résille’s 25th-anniversary flash mob, and their electric performance spread across YouTube like wildfire.

The samba flash mob has been viewed over 10.4 million times, with 55,000 people liking it! Almost 1,200 people also left comments for the gifted musicians, with many people praising their phenomenal musical abilities. It’s easy to see why viewers on the internet were so impressed.
