Anyone who knows country music has seen a good line dance.

Country line dancing has origins in Europe, and it was brought to America by settlers from England, Scottland and Ireland before being adopted and modified by Western culture. Since it was formed, ladies like these have been spreading the tradition with slick moves that are hard not to love.

“Boot Scooting Boogie” was originally written by Ronnie Dunn for his group Asleep At The Wheel in 1990 before he and Brooks re-released it together in 1991 as Brooks and Dunn.

The song has a signature line dance that has become extremely popular in bars and amongst country lovers everywhere.

This group of dancers learns the popular line dance to the hit song, making a video of themselves performing it that spread across the internet like wildfire.

At the beginning of the video, the girls shuffle their feet together before wasting no time in jumping into the line dance.

They go through the dance with great energy, using their cowboy hats as part of the show.

The dancing cowgirls spin, side-step and glide across the dance floor together. That’s when they take off their hats and begin waving them back and forth in front of their bodies.

Once the ladies get a little bit more comfortable dancing, they really get in sync with each other and put on an awesome show.

You can tell they’ve put in quite a bit of practice to learn this dance, which is probably why they do it so well.

The dance to “Boot Scootin Boogie” was created in Vancouver, Canada before spreading to the United States.

When Choreographer Bill Bader saw the title to “Boot Scooting Boogie,” he thought the song could make for a good country line dance and set out to create one.

It was originally known as the “Vancouver Boogie,” until it caught on in the States and took on a life of its own.
