He looks like your average high school student, but he comes equipped with quite the secret—a secret that isn’t all too evident at the beginning of the video we’re sharing today.

But what starts to seem like another average high school talent show ends up turning into something much more memorable.

Littleton took center stage at the Central Davidson High school Talent Show.

The who’s who of the school were in that gymnasium. Cool kids, teenagers, nerds, and bored staff members.

But they were all in awe of Peyton’s incredible talent when he was done.

The video features a gymnasium, where the school kids sit in the bleachers awaiting the next performance.

As the clip begins, Littleton enters into the scope of the camera, appearing very unassuming with his glasses and guitar.

But he approaches the court with confidence, readying the microphone to help him deliver his act.

The school’s gym is filled with chatter as they wait to see what will happen next.

And then, with a guitar in hand, the student makes a move to sing a song… and proceeds to blow his classmates’ minds!

His performance of Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” is virtually flawless.

Imagine a typical high school, coming-of-age film.

This performance would’ve been the one to make everyone swoon, as well the one capable of stealing the hearts of cheerleaders from jocks.

Coming from Sheeran’s third studio album in 2017, “Perfect” is a highly relatable and timeless love song.

Upon its release, the romantic ballad became an instant hit.

Shortly following its release, it enjoyed success as the number one hit on the UK Singles Chart, as well as the Billboard Top 100.

And it’s no surprise that the students of Central Davidson High School are well-acquainted with the massive hit song.

It takes a lot of guts to perform such a popular ballad in front of the entire school.

However, Littleton completely owns the performance.

He makes the bold move to transition from practicing at home to performing before all of his peers.

High school can already be an awkward time, let alone belting out a solo song.

But as it turns out, the highly-talented student is a delight to experience.

Littleton is a modest performer, not letting ego interfere with his delivery.

Considering he’s got fans in the comments section.

“This is harder than going on the voice or any other show… This kid has to see his peers everyday for who knows how many more years. What a set he must have.”

Says King Gypsy22

Throughout his performance, his skills do all the talking.

After watching, it’s clear to see just how talented he is.

He seemingly picks the “perfect” song to perform.

Sheeran’s hit is exceptionally feel-good and paints a romantic back-drop, layered with the loveliest melody.

As it goes, Sheeran wrote the song with his own school sweetheart in mind, Cherry Seaborn.

“I found a love for me
Darling, just dive right in
And follow my lead
Well, I found a girl, beautiful and sweet
I never knew you were the someone waiting for me.”

But it begs the question, just who is Littleton singing to?

Shortly after he finishes the chorus for the first time, the students in the audience begin to lift him up with the lights on their cellphones.

Swaying the phones back and forth in the air, they set the mood for a concert of sorts.

Their support only fuels his performance.

As he finishes singing and plays the final chords of the song, his peers roar in applause from the bleachers.

With over four million views and 91,000 likes on YouTube, many agree.
