However, the style, energy, and excitement of the dance were still there.
Now in the 202os, we have couples like Maxime and Torri Zzaoui.
And the thing with dancing with a partner is you have to connect.
The rhythm, the steps, and the way dancers respond to each other can either make a dance memorable or laughable.
Good thing these two have been dancing their whole lives!

Maxime began dancing at the impressive young age of 5 in Lyon, France.
He trained in the contemporary style at the Conservatory for 6 years.
Imagine finding a passion for dance at the age of 5!
Maxime proved to be a talented and skilled dancer, impressing his audiences and fans.
He was the first European to place in the top 5 of the classic division at the US Open 2012.
Watching him here now just reinforces the fact that he is a very talented dancer.
It is Swing but with a touch more of intimacy in a way since that is his wife.
She was once Torri Smith and she began dancing in California at the very young age of 3.
Torri can dance jazz and tap, but she is way more comfortable with the West Coast Swing.
Just look at her spin and shuffle around with Maxime!
And talk about spinning like a top.
Even their fellow dancers sitting behind them can’t help but smile watching these two tear up the dance floor.
No wonder this couple sits high on the dance community’s members list.
This is a level of chemistry honed by years of dancing and living together.
Dancing with love at its core just works wonders!
