West Coast Swing has grown a sizable audience, and for good reason.
The dancers at West Coast Swing bring their A-game every time, and some of them have already gone viral.
One of the dancers in this video, Jordan Frisbee, has already enjoyed a bit of internet fame after a viral “Macarena” dance video with fellow dancer Emeline Rochefeuille.
So what’s he bringing to the dance floor this time?
With the holiday season in full swing (pun most definitely intended), dancers are treating us to some of their sweetest moves.
This particular dance took place at the Winter White 2023 event, and Jordan Frisbee from that viral video has another dance partner this time – Tatiana Mollmann.
The song this time is something a little more serious – and kinda intimate.
Swing dances are made for that, aren’t they?
The track chosen for these two is Jason Derulo’s “Slow Low.”
It’s a sensual song, but Jordan and Tatiana are up to the challenge.
The pair kick things off with some hip-gyrating action. You know, just to set the tone for the performance. Tatiana seems to be particularly committed to it.
Jordan follows, and now both of them start using their feet too – sliding and shuffling with the rhythm of an expert swing dancer.
This is what high-level swing looks like.
If you’re really good at it, you can make the audience believe, even for just a few seconds, that you actually are a couple.
Chemistry can elevate a swing performance to new heights, and these two definitely have it.
And right as Jason Derulo’s track starts getting intense, Jordan and Tatiana pull off an assisted pirouette.
Tatiana lowers her body and holds onto Jordan, while Jordan balances on the soles of his feet to hold her up.
Then they spin, and the audience loses it.
It’s a pretty sweet move, you gotta admit. And it’s far from the only one they’ll do.
As a matter of fact, you’ll come to find out that Tatiana seems to love twirls and pirouettes.
Not long after that first assisted twirl, she and Jordan pull off another.
She’s out here proving two things: 1. That she has impeccable balance and 2. She doesn’t get dizzy.
Tatiana has another twirl for them – her best one yet. She and Jordan get it started, and so she twirls….and twirls…and keeps twirling.
The other contestants and the audience can’t do anything but cheer like crazy.
That’s the most twirls in a single performance this whole night.
Who else but Tatiana, right?
With the momentum they’ve got going, they ramp things up to a climax before their set is over.
They dance back and forth on the stage and wrap it up with style.
Now that was some killer dancing from two incredible people. And we’re blessed to have been able to watch it, even on YouTube.
