All the best dancers know that the movement of our bodies can tell a vivid story.
As a matter of fact, choreography is a language people can use to convey their feelings or paint a certain image in their minds. That said, witness how these dancers interpret the words of a romantic love song with their beautiful dance routine!
These two skilled dancers teamed up to do a fantastic dance cover of a James Arthur song.
South Korean dancers Bongyoung Park and May J Lee are both professional choreographers and trainers working at 1Million Dance studio.
1Million is a dance school in Seoul that has done choreography for famous K-pop artists and groups such as Jay Park, 2NE1 and Girls’ Generation. Though they’ve worked with plenty of major artists, this video in particular made the internet fall in love with their incredible dancing.
Watching them dance will make anyone wish for a dance partner of their own!
In a wide, empty room, May J Lee and Bonyoung Park appeared in front of the camera from opposite sides, walking towards each other.
With the song playing, they slowly got into position and readied themselves for their routine.
The moment they heard James Arthur sing the verse of the song, the dancers began their performance.
They skillfully synchronized their movements along with the slow rhythm of the song. Furthermore, both of them gracefully waltzed onto the dance floor, following their respective dance routines.
The language of romance sang so clearly in their movements!
Since the song was a love ballad, the dancers did movements that perfectly fit with that theme.
With their vivid movements alone, they amazingly portrayed the story of two passionate, young lovers. You could hear the spectators from behind glass doors and windows squeal with glee as these dancers perfectly played their scenes out on the dance floor!
Aside from that, the couple pulled off some stunts in their performance which were all neatly executed.
It was so sweet and romantic watching the pair hug and sway as the chorus started. The crowd cheered on them as they ended their routine with Bonyoung Park wrapping his arms around his partner from behind.
Other dancers also showed off their graceful interpretations of the song.
The other dancers from 1Million Dance Studio refused to be bested by the previous couple.
They also found a dance partner to show off their awesome and spontaneous dance moves. At least five couples tried to replicate the routines from May J Lee and Bonyoung Park while adding their own unique twists into the mix. It was clear that the dancers in this school were all talented and equally amazing.
The dance performance was uploaded on 1Million Dance Studio’s YouTube channel where it racked up 39 million views.
With the video’s immense amount of views, some of the viewers have left their compliments for the dancer’s genuine and passionate choreography.
Some even hilariously claimed about how hard it was to be single while watching Bonyoung and May’s dancing.
With this studio’s skill in delivering the language of dance, it’s no surprise that so many people admire them.
