Based on the setting alone, we’re not sure whats happening here at first. Theres a warehouse and a crowd of people so based on what movies have taught us, what’s coming next isn’t good. But thats the exact opposite of what happens in this video after one man starts breakdancing.
When the video starts out, you’re not sure who to keep an eye on, but it becomes pretty clear when the floor clears out and the man in the black does a backflip.
He shows off his breakdancing skills even more by moving his feet to the music so quick can hardly keep up, and flipping and spinning onto the floor until he casually walks off, thinking that was the end of his show.
“We got got a cop over here. Oh we got a cop over here!” one crowd member shouts as a police officer busts onto the scene. He’s not breaking anything up, but he’s showing up the guy who just busted a move on the dance floor by challenging him with his own moves.
The officer keeps going thanks to shouts and cheers from the growing crowd. The way he can spin on his hands and hold himself up is incredible. It looks as if his shoulders should be popping out of place the way his body is leaning one way and his hands are facing the other when he’s upside down. He manages to make every move look so easy, despite being in a full uniform with heavy boots and a utility belt.
He does one last maneuver and runs of the dance floor like he didn’t just blow everyones mind with his surprise breakdancing, but his competitor is still up for the challenge.
Wowing the crowd with a series of backhand springs in the tiny space, the man in the black seems to have won over his audience and continues with some more spins, kicks and flips. At one point he even drops into a split!
The cop sees this and seems to have a few tricks up his sleeve when he steps onto the floor a second time. What he does next leaves the crowd speechless.
He takes to the floor on his hands and spins with his feet in the air over and over in a circle, spinning so fast he occasionally leaves the floor completely and never wavering. From there he drops slightly to continue the spins on his shoulders and down to swinging his legs around him.
The moves that these two have are something that looks like they could only take place in a Step Up movie. Their moves are unreal, and the fact that neither of them make a mistake is incredible. It’s pretty clear why this impromptu dance-off has over3 million views on YouTube and is still gaining more.
