When it comes to music, we usually think of rock and roll bands, hip-hop groups, and solo artists as being the ones that fill auditoriums, arenas, and halls. Although a lot of people love choir music, it’s traditionally associated with a church. But this year, participants of the Colorado All State Mixed Choir proved this type of music is much bigger than that.
While a video of the event was only posted a few weeks ago, it’s already racked up close to 20,000 views. Performing Lunar Lullaby, every person involved was amazing. As one poster commented, “These memories will never fade. Good job everyone.”
All of the balconies are jam-packed
Not only is the floor packed with people but also all of the balconies. We mean packed. As soon as the choir starts, it sounds like a band of angels singing from Heaven. Their voices are beautiful and the harmony exceptional. What makes this even more incredible is that these choir members are all high school students.
They’re all so gifted
Even people who don’t normally listen to choir music had nothing but praises. One individual had this to say, “Just lovely. Leaves the listener speechless.” Another person commented, “You people are so good. Cherish what you have accomplished.”
They put in a tremendous amount of hard work
There’s no question that these students dedicated hours upon hours to learn this piece and perform it so perfectly. Of course, you have to give kudos to the music teacher. For this to be as flawless as it was, that person had to have a tremendous amount of dedication. Of course, the teacher was blessed with some highly talented students.
This mixed choir sounds professional
Yes, they’re that good. With the venue where this was held being so large, the sound has a soothing echo. With every note sung, they nailed it. People were so in awe during the performance, minus the music, you could’ve heard a pin drop. No one wanted to make a sound in fear they’d miss something.
Comments came rolling in
The caliber of this performance was excellent. In response, people started commenting almost immediately after the video was uploaded. Some of them came from people who were fortunate enough to have been at the performance in person. Others saw it online and felt prompted to congratulate this mixed choir.
Everyone loved them
One of the choir members shared what it was like to participate. “Singing this piece with all of those amazing singers was one of the most spectacular moments I have ever had the honor to be a part of. I’m going to miss it.” Another person who sang in a different choir posted this, “In all my years of choral singing, I’ve never heard anything so beautiful.”
