The Fast and Furious movie franchise has given movie goers and fans a ton of memories. Fast cars, action paced plots, romance, and catchy tunes are some of the films’ stand out characteristics. But perhaps what stood out most since the first movie (2001) was the then unknown cast who grew to be some of cinema history’s more beloved ensembles ever.

They’ve grown in numbers, adding new members to the team, but the original cast stayed on for the engine screaming, fist flying, adrenaline packed series of films that have generated an insane amount of money for the makers.

Furious 7 (Fast and Furious 7, 2015) is the seventh installment of the widely popular series of films with the original cast once again back to their roles but in November of 2013, tragedy struck as lead star Paul Walker died in a high speed vehicular accident and was only able to film half of the film.

The script was rewritten and Paul’s brothers took over his role, eventually finishing the film. The film’s main track was commissioned as a tribute to Walker. Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See you again” went on to become 2015’s biggest hit, being the most streamed on Spotify with the music video getting a huge number of views from July to August of 2017.

Here is a rendition of the massively successful hit by the One Voice Children’s Choir.

The video starts of with a time lapse of New York City, the fast paced urban jungle flying by in sharp color before a quote “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory” is shown on screen.

Charlie Puth’s trademark piano intro comes on as the children, dressed in white, are shown assembled by the river with the city providing a beautiful backdrop for the performance.

The lyrics were about Paul, but with the current situation of the world, it seems to take on a new meaning.

“It’s been a long day without you, my friend
And I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again
We’ve come a long way from where we began
Oh I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again”

The first singer is a young lady named Hannah K. and she nails the first part perfectly. It’s not easy delivering a song’s intro. All the jitters, all the eyes, are present and it takes talent to do so. Which she has!

Now this song boasts of a touching rap part from Wiz Khalifa, and assigned this role is Quinn. This young man raps with a smooth tone to his voice, not something normally heard even from big stars. Sing it!

He may be on to something here.

From the singing to the harmonizing and the backup vocals, these kids put a spin on the hit song giving it a much needed refresh for the streamer’s ears. There’s a hint of gospel when you listen well too!

No modified cars here. No muscle bound men itching for a fight either. Just unbelievably talented kids who took to New York creating their own memories and perhaps adding some for the pedestrians passing by. The One Voice Children’s Choir has taken the planet by storm, using their voices and talents to touch millions of people from every corner of the globe.

They’ve even performed at the White House!

You’ve never heard “See you again” like this. But maybe you should, what with everything happening in the world right now. So grab someone special and give them some love. You never know.
