The Masaka Kids Africana have been warming hearts all around the world since they were founded in 2013, and have become quite the little internet celebrities with their captivating performances.

MKA was created for orphans ages two and up, who have tragically lost either one or both parents.

According to UNICEF, there were 140 million orphans in 2015, with 15.1 million of those being kids who’ve lost one or more parents.

With a reported one million orphans in Uganda, local organizations like Masaka Kids Africana are taking a hands-on approach to help these vulnerable kids through creative expression.

What makes it even more brilliant is the amount of skill these children possess, which is probably why their YouTube channel has 277,000 subscribers and over 200 million views. In this video, they start dancing to “Koto Ko” and right away you know you’re in for a treat.

The most adorable young boy lip-syncs the words to the music, while his equally adorable buddy acts as a DJ.

That’s when the video flashes to a group of dancers from MSK who do an incredible routine, moving their bodies in ways that take professional dancers years to master.

Their YouTube caption explains:

“The Masaka Kids Africana is composed of African children, from the age of 2 and up. Many have lost one or both parents through the devastation of war, famine and disease. They represent all the children of a continent and they demonstrate the potential of African children to become strong leaders for a better future in their land. The children melt the hearts of audiences with their charming smiles and delightful African tunes, accompanied by vibrant dance moves,” It goes son to say: “Masaka Kids Africana sponsored children have gone through some of the worst experiences a child could face — but through dance and song and sharing their love of Uganda, these children connect to each other and the world. They see their own potential — they have hope for their future.”
