If you’re looking to be distracted and dazzled at the same time, the ice skating video below is simply magical.
Guillaume Cizeron and Gabriella Papadakis are French ice dancers who’ve had impressive careers in the sport. They’ve won numerous medals, championships, and have even broken many world records as a duo. One of their unforgettable performances took place at the European Figure Skating Championships in Moscow, Russia.
Guillaume and Gabriella are partners with an incredible amount of chemistry on the ice. Likely it’s one of the reasons they’ve been a duo since they were nine-years-old.
To name just some of their accomplishments, the pair are four-time winners of the World Figure Skating Championships, they’ve won the European Championships five times, they’re multi-winners of the French Championships, and in 2018 they brought home the Olympic silver medal. According to the Nestlords website, they’ve also broken world records more than two dozen times.
During this particular performance, they were 22 and 23-years-old.
Guillaume and Gabriella take their place on the ice and begin in a seductive pose. A moment later they start their routine with Latin-style dance moves, before flying around the rink. The song in the background is Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You (the Latin Remix).”

It truly does appear as if they’re dancing out on the ice, and the routine is energetic and sexy, especially set to Sheeran’s steamy lyrics. But eventually, there’s a twist.
The song morphs into another one of Sheeran’s international hit tracks, “Thinking Out Loud.” And with the change of the music, the style of the performance changes as well.
Guillaume and Gabriella start beautifully “slow dancing” on the ice and bring the romance to another level. They hold onto each other as they glide around, looking as if they’re deeply in love – executing moves and twirls flawlessly. If you need something to melt your heart into a puddle, it’s a routine that will do just that.
Their spectacular performance has taken people’s breath away around the world. Another viewer commented:

Eventually, there’s another change in the performance style when the song switches back to “Shape of You.”
In a flash, the champion duo returns to their seductive characters and Guillaume lifts Gabriella into his arms and up into the air. Their talent is really out of this world.
At the end of the duo’s short dance performance, they were awarded a score of 81.29.
Guillaume Cizeron and Gabriella Papadakis ended up winning the European Championships when they received a combined total of 203.16 points. When you see them in action it might not be surprising that they’ve made so many achievements during their careers in figure skating.
