The holiday season is just around the corner, and now that we have reached the last quarter of the year, we can’t help but feel nostalgic about the beautiful feelings this time of the year always brings.
One amazing news to know is that finally, the renowned country singer, songwriter, and mother of two Carrie Underwood has now released her first-ever Christmas album on September 25. She entitled it My Gift and it is totally a joy to listen to, not just because Carrie Underwood has outstanding vocals, but because she shared a special moment with her first son in one of the songs.

Consisted of 11 songs, the winner of Americal Idol Season 4 created a package full of beloved classic Christmas songs such as “Silent Night” and “Away in the Manger”. Of course, the singer also included original pieces such as “Sweet Baby Jesus” and “Let There Be Peace”.
The album has definitely a lot of great songs in it, but the most adorable of the songs would probably be “Little Drummer Boy”. Underwood sang the song together with her first son, Isaiah Fisher, and it is undoubtedly one charming number!
It was a moment that truly made Carrie a proud mom.
“I was in the booth with him, and trying to get him to access all his little 5-year-old emotions, which he can totally do on his own,” Carrie happily shared on NBC News’ Today. “When I heard the song back with his sweet little voice on it, I was laughing and crying. Just so many emotions. I’m so proud of him.”
My Gift also features songs in collaboration with John Legend wherein the famous crooner sang “Hallelujah”. The album was produced by Greg Wells and mixed by Serban Ghenea, featuring a world-class ensemble of musicians in an orchestra that only made the songs even more perfect for the holidays. On October 30, this fabulous collection of Christmas melodies will be released on vinyl.
