Carrie Underwood is a country star who has had numerous songs hit the Billboard Top 100 List. She has also won seven Grammy Awards, including an award for Best New Artist.
Underwood’s husband, Mike Fisher, is a former NHL player. The pair have been together since 2008, and they got married in 2010. They have two sons together—Isaiah, who was born in 2015, and Jacob, who was born in January 2019.
Underwood and Fisher love their boys more than anything in the world, and the family always enjoy spending time together.
In June 2019, Underwood shared a hilarious video of her and Fisher taking care of baby Jacob. She revealed that while Fisher may not be a professional musician like her, he still loves singing to Jacob. But it turns out, Jacob can be a harsh critic!
The video begins by showing a cranky Jacob crying. Fisher started singing one of Underwood’s biggest hits, “Love Wins,” hoping that would calm him down. But Jacob only cried harder.
It was clear that Fisher’s singing wasn’t calming Jacob down, and so Underwood tried singing. As soon as she belted out the first note of the song, Jacob quieted down and looked at her in wonder. This seemed to be the moment he realized he had a famous singer for a mom!
Once Jacob was quiet, Fisher decided to try singing to him again. As soon as he began singing, Jacob started crying again. Underwood couldn’t help but laugh when she saw that.
Underwood sang another verse of “Love Wins,” and Jacob quieted down again. Fisher had tried his hardest, but this singing competition had a clear winner!
Underwood posted the hilarious video on her Instagram page, and it quickly went viral, receiving over two million views.
The video made every viewer crack up. It also attracted some big-name celebrities, including Justin Timberlake.
“This is the greatest thing I’ve seen all year,” Timberlake wrote.
Fisher himself also commented on the video. He said that there was a reason Jacob was crying so much—and it wasn’t because of his singing.
“The real reason is he was hungry and wanted your food. #notmysinging,” Fisher wrote.
Underwood shares lots of adorable photos of her two boys on her Instagram page. In mid-June 2019, she shared a cute photo of four-year-old Isaiah helping her out on her Cry Pretty Tour.
“Had some extra special help with sound check today, so tonight’s show is bound to sound amazing!!!” she wrote alongside a photo of Isaiah holding a microphone.
