This is one of the most beautiful renditions I've ever heard.

Carrie Underwood singing Christmas hymns is truly something else, as you’ll see if you haven’t already.

She’s got lots of Christmas covers and they just never get old. Well, it is Christmas and that never gets old either. Not to mention Underwood is outspoken about her faith.

Here’s the 38-year-old singer still sounding unbelievably good with “O Come All Ye Faithful” during the Santa Claus Parade.

True to Carrie fashion, the performance starts slowly, an acoustic guitar plucking for the intro. But with Underwood, her voice is anything but slow and gentle. It’s a rushing waterfall that begs to be unleashed.

And even here she’s trying to hold back before showing that power.

It’s when she raises her voice note by note that has listeners wide-eyed. And when Carrie closes her eyes and lifts a hand, it’s almost like she’s praising her Creator. She probably is!

Originally written in Latin as “Adeste Fideles“, the song’s origin is often attributed to different individuals and groups.

St. Bonaventure in the 13th century or King John IV of Portugal in the 17th century are often included in the song’s story. But it was more commonly believed that Cistercian monks wrote the text.

Maybe in a century or two, they’ll attribute the song to Underwood.

She has got one of the most amazing voices in the world and even experts agree. Her enormous talent means she can hit any note at any time and do it over and over again.

Carrie stays in great shape.

Singing at such high intensity over long periods of time can exhaust even the most talented of singers but Underwood is able to do so every time she’s on stage and that in itself is a wonder.

Listen to how she goes from lower notes to higher ones for “O Come All Ye Faithful”.

If this doesn’t get you in the spirit of Christmas, then you have got Grinch blood in you. And if you don’t believe in Underwood’s incredible range and talent, listen to her sing Guns and Roses’ “Paradise City” and “Sweet Child Of Mine” live.

This is a girl who goes from country, ballads, rock, then Christmas. How versatile do you want it?

Carrie is one singer we wish would never grow old and lose her voice. She owns any stage she finds herself on, and regardless if you are a fan or not, there’s no denying that she’s incredible.

Go ahead and add Underwood to that playlist!
