Since the dawn of time, people have found a way to express themselves through the movement of their bodies.

Cultures spanning far and wide have collectively created their own unique dances across time to communicate emotion, feelings, and ideas.

While some devote themselves to ballet, others tap it out. Some people swing and other people march, but the common thread is movement as a form of expression.

In modern times, many troupes gather together to display some fascinating choreography.

While some of it is pure fun, other times such dazzling displays are to gain attention and convey a message.

This performance company is lighting stages on fire with its impressive moves, taking places by storm, and rapidly becoming one of the most influential dance communities in the world.

They seem to be gaining steady traction and for good reason! As they explain online:

“Fusion Fighters is a progressive performance company and online community first launched on St Patrick’s Day 2013 at the Mayor of London Festival in Trafalgar Square. For the past 6 years they have branched away from what has become the typical Irish dance experience in order to evolve for a modern audience while still preserving their traditions. The initiative has continued to grow and has now established itself worldwide working intensively in the creation, production and delivery of unique campaigns and community projects. With their message of ‘Creativity and Inclusion’ they offer a range of projects to include dancers of all ages and levels.”

Recently they shared a video by a sister outfit in Canada, the SFH Irish Dance Studio.

According to their studio’s website:

“Competition is a key element of the Irish dancer’s life. Irish dance is a marvelous exercise, offering a high impact and high energy aerobic workout. Despite the lesser focus on competition, the dancers are still taught to perform the dances with the same adherence to proper technique and form. It takes no less dedication to dance recreationally and dancers are still encouraged to participate in our local Feiseana.”

Since being posted, this video has amassed over five million views and 80,000 likes! People have flocked to the comments to pour out their adoration for these firey young girls.

Many have expressed their amazement with Irish dance, citing their precision:

“They sure did alot of hardwork, their timing, their movements match perfectly.”

Others have comically reacted, noting:

“My neighbors upstairs when I’m trying to sleep.”

But all in all, one thing remains – these girls are priceless! They’ve got the moves and the sass to prove it. You must imagine that it takes a lot of lower body strength to belt out these moves with such repitition and swiftness.

Find out just how fast they can tap for yourself in the video below!
