Famous musicians deal with a lot of public admiration.
Sometimes they can’t respond to every fan who tries to get some of their attention. One of those bands is Red Hot Chilli Peppers, an American rock band from Los Angeles. They formed in 1983, but they still tour and do live shows.
The inevitable part of every live appearance is the fans who come to see their favorite celebrities.
In this video, the famous band leaves their hotel in Bologna and are on their way to Torino. The video wouldn’t be so special without a busker who plays some of RHCP’s songs on the guitar and does it perfectly.
Needless to say, his guitar playing is awesome!
This unknown young man sits on the stairs outside the hotel and plays “Scar Tissue” on his guitar. Although he didn’t get much of the band’s recognition, the crowd loved him and the YouTube community all thought he played phenomenally! A lot of people say that celebrities are simply always in a hurry and they just can’t stop each time someone interesting appears.
Even if this performer hoped for a different outcome, the internet still loved him.
His guitar-playing skills deserved a little recognition. The audience gathered because of Red Hot Chili Peppers, but they can be seen dancing to this guy’s playing and having a good time while waiting.
Unfortunately, the band left too quickly to give him much recognition.
As the video shows, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers left the Bologna hotel in a big hurry.
This young man tried to talk to them, but they left. It’s understandable because they were on tour and they didn’t have much time, but after seeing this, we’re wishing they had stopped!
Fortunately, we can all appreciate his performance from this video clip.
When we get passed over, it’s usually nothing personal. Famous people can’t stop to thank or admire their fans every time they move from place to place. They wouldn’t get anything done, and that’s a simple truth. We assume that there are many situations like this one.
Unfortunately, the road to fame is paved with a lot of efforts and false starts.
People who get famous overnight are rare and they simply have a lot of luck.
The guy who plays guitar is very talented, that’s undeniable. We only hope that he won’t stop trying his luck, because he will get noticed someday—and maybe this can be a start! He played those two red Hot Chili Peppers songs perfectly and it’s a good start. The talent is there, and he doesn’t lack devotion or hard work either.
Luck will come and surprise him, the way it surprised many musicians before.
The best recipe is not to take any failure seriously. You just learn from it, if you can. One has to look at the things from a different perspective too: RHCP members weren’t trying to ignore the guy playing guitar. They just want to move with their family in peace and avoid the crowds.
Even so, since this was posted, the video got more than five million views!

The silver lining is that many people commented that this guy’s guitar cover was excellent, so he got some publicity after all! He plays really well and we hope this is only the start of his success story.
