Without a doubt, there are plenty of talented street performers coming out of Ireland.

For just one more example, watch this video of a performance from around Christmas.

Meet Allie Sherlock.

She is a 15-year-old girl from Ireland who shares her gorgeous voice on the streets of Dublin and is quite the spectacle. She has been doing song covers for some time, and sometimes other famous buskers join her on her stage to sing with her.

The girl started making a living this way when she was as young as ten years old.

At some point, one of her videos went viral and she became the talk of many towns. Furthermore, she built up a great social media influence with plenty of people who supported her and wished her luck in her future ventures as a musician.

Wham! has never failed to be with us every single year.

This special holiday is a time of the year where you hang out with people you love—whether it’s your friends, family or your romantic partner.

In the latter case, it would be particularly sad to go through a breakup around Christmas time.

If that were the case, it would be something hard to forget especially when Wham! made a song specifically for the brokenhearted people at Christmas time.

Although it seemed upbeat, the lyrics are sad but still relatable.

In 2019, Allie shared her melancholic cover of Wham!’s classic with that message in mind.

Last year in December, Allie was off busking during a cold day on Grafton Street in Dublin.

As she started singing, it was not long before a crowd formed around to watch her perform. Since Christmas was in the air, she decided to sing this classic. She plucked sad notes on her guitar, building up to the song itself.

The moment you hear her sing, your heart is sure to be lifted.

The street was very busy at that time, but some had to stop by to watch the lady sing such a gorgeous song. Before long, everyone was standing around watching her—and they were fascinated at her. People recorded her performance, and some were generous enough to make some serious donations to her guitar case.

This year’s Christmas just wasn’t the same as the result of the global pandemic.

Therefore, we might not be able to enjoy much of the merry tradition outside without wearing a mask or the fear of getting sick.

Hopefully, everyone out there was still able to enjoy Christmas from the safety of their homes—and hopefully next year, we will all be free of COVID-19 once again.

For now, let’s just reminisce about the good old times where people could freely crowd up watching the same wonderful thing. Once things are back to normal, we will be out in the streets watching street performances just like this one.
