Sometimes it can affect someone’s mood and help them get through life in an easier and more efficient way.
Music is not a joke or something that should be taken lightly.
Music expresses the things we can’t put into words. It can show the most triumphant joy in one instance and the most devastating despair in another. For some people, it is their passion and way of life. And this busker from Spain is one great example!
Meet Borja Catanesi, a busker hailing all the way from Valencia, Spain. He has spent the past several years traveling to different countries in Europe with his guitar to hone his craft.
In a video uploaded on his YouTube account, Borja is seen playing “Entre Dos Aguas” using his guitar to pay tribute to the famous Spanish guitarist Paco de Lucia.
“Entre Dos Aguas” is an instrumental flamenco rumba which, since the song’s inception, has been considered a masterpiece of flamenco, being the most popular and well-known song of the artist.
With various talented dancers alternately heating up the dance floor, people gathered around them to watch their spectacular show.
Borja is joined by professional dancers namely Rosa Carne, Adria Martos and Juline Carrel.
These dancers are world-class who already proved themselves on the international dancing scene by winning in various dance sport competitions across the globe.
As Borja strums his guitar, making melodious tones float in the air, Rosa and Juline kick off their battle of grooves.
Rosa flaunts her dancing prowess with vigor and vitality, and her body ripples to the tune of the guitar.
Juline matches it with her grace and hips shaking with utmost elegance!
But Rosa wins this round as she twirls like a ballerina or a black swan across the pond.
Nevertheless, both women are grace personified—and they make the crowd erupt with cheers and rounds of applause.
As Borja adds beatbox to accompany his guitar, they are replaced by another pair of dancers.
Before long, Borja is proving that he’s a one-man-band!
As the tune of the song picks up its pace, so do the pair on the dance floor!
Before long, everyone is synchronizing effortlessly with the music.
Soon after, they are followed by the golden pair Adria and Juline. These two prove their chemistry on the dance floor as they continue to improvise and entertain the crowd.
Rosa and Juline retake the center stage for their mini showdown exchanging dance routines and impromptu steps.
They interpret the musical notes through their dance moves. While Borja pre-records different parts of his music, those pieces overlap with each other creating a harmonious tone. The music also modulates as it shifts from various parts of the musical piece making it sounds like it is produced in a studio instead of being in an open area.
Overall their passion for music and dancing really showed as their audience enjoyed their show!
There are talented performers all over the world, and sometimes they join forces to make amazing moments like this happen. It’s clear that quality performances can be found not only on stages but also on the streets—and fortunately this one got captured on film!
