What do you get when you put two of history’s biggest crooners on stage together? Simple, you get a silk-smooth croon fest with enough charm to make a snowman blush. They’ve put their heavenly voices together a few times before, and every time it’s a veritable swoonathon. These two know how to charm a crowd, and old and new styles have never sounded so good coming together.
Exhibit A) Michael Bublé
He’s the smooth-talking, side-smiling hearthrob that raises the blood pressure of an entire generation. Following in the footsteps of great singers like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, he’s got talent and charm pouring out of his ears.

Exhibit B) Rod Stewart
Known as much for his charisma as Bublé is, he’s the old-guard of charming singing. Well, he’s known for both his unique raspy voice as well as his hair cut which hasn’t changed since the 70’s.
If you’re having trouble remembering who Rod Stewart is, his own website says it best:
“The world knows Stewart to be a man of many facets: the fully paid-up, card-carrying rock star; the father of eight; the full-time curator of one of history’s most famous haircuts; the tireless Celtic fan; the extremely handy soccer player and provider, even now, of a devilishly in-swinging corner from the left-hand side.”
It seems like Rod Stewart doesn’t just sing the words “forever young”, he lives them.

And as they sing, it’s hard not to fall or their charms!
They’re singing “They Can’t Take That Away From Me”, and it never sounded so good. With the smooth jazz emanating from the band behind them, the whole affair is just too fun. Originally introduced in 1937 by Fred Astaire, he’d be proud by this awesome rendition.
With a few of his signature cheeky looks, Bublé does what he does best.
You guessed right, that means melting hearts and putting smiles on faces. Notably, Frank Sinatra once sang this song too, and you can bet that old Blue Eyes would be just as proud as Mr. Astaire.
What a team they make!
The way that they volley back and forth, handing the song over from one to the other is so wonderful. When they sing together in time, Bublé’s silky voice and Stewart’s raspy one come together in a way that is spectacular.
And Rod brings the heat!
Throwing his head back to really bring it, Rod provides decades of rocker power to the stage. How is it possible to stay that cool? Is it the haircut? It is magic?
Not to mention the band.
It’s not just Michael Bublé and Rod Stewart making this performance great, but the jazz band themselves are just so dang good. Whether it’s the upright bassist, the pianist, or the amazing saxophonist, the whole troop knocks the show up from good to great.
And as the song rises, they bring it to a roaring head.
These two incredible, legendary singers both provide their own excellent flavor to what is the perfect song for two infamous swooners.
