Though we all have day jobs and things we’re required to do to make a living, many of us also have secret passions and hidden abilities that reflect our true selves.

We can’t always immediately find a way to support ourselves from our passions in the short term, but the truth is that the self always seems to find a way to shine through no matter what it is we’re doing. In some cases, when we let our personality through it delivers us to new heights.

And that was definitely the case in this hilarious story out of Michigan.

It all started in 2018 with a pizza delivery driver named Bryce Dudal.

Dudal was only 18 years old, and he was working in suburban Detroit at Hungry Howie’s pizza. Though he was just doing the job to make some extra money in the summer, it ended up providing him with a unique opportunity.

On one pizza delivery call, Dudal went to the door and saw that the house’s owner had a huge piano in the main room. He and the man started talking about the piano and Dudal revealed that he’d been playing for 11 years.

With that, the man invited Dudal in and asked him to play.

Dudal sat down and obliged—and what followed was an incredible performance that started making the rounds on the internet.

Needless to say, Dudal had incredible piano chops. What he played was Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata,” and it blew the man away! Though it started as a funny moment on the job, the man filmed the performance on his cell phone and it soon travelled around the world.

Before long, Inside Edition reached out to do an interview with Dudal to get his backstory. As it turns out, Dudal is self-taught and has been practicing Beethoven since he was a little kid.

Still, the best was yet to come for Dudal.

Before long, even Ellen invited Dudal to come on her show to perform as well!

As those who watch Ellen know, she and her staff are no strangers to viral internet phenomena.

As he explains in the interview, it wasn’t the first time that Dudal came in somebody else’s house and started playing their piano—this was just the first time that it made it onto the internet. Dudal explains that his goal is to become a worldwide concert pianist.

With that, Ellen clears the way for him to perform on her show.

Once again, Dudal sets into his incredible version of “Moonlight Sonata.”

Even though he’s self-taught, it’s clear that he has incredible touch and technique. Though the song is notoriously difficult to play, Dudal manages to sail through it like an absolute pro.

Though classical music sometimes doesn’t seem particularly interesting, hearing someone bring it to life like he does is definitely something to behold.

Between all the many videos, Dudal’s piano performances have amassed millions of views online.

Needless to say, Dudal is incredibly talented and the video has opened some great doors for him.

At the end of it all, Ellen tells Dudal that their show is going to give him the show’s Yamaha piano so that he can keep practicing and honing his craft!
