Musicians are known for engaging their audience in different ways during live shows.
Bruce Springsteen is a great entertainer who displays incredible humility and humanity. That’s what makes the famous American singer-songwriter so beloved.
Let’s see together how the leader of E Street Band made a talented fan happy for allowing him to come on stage and perform “Growing Up” with him!
It’s very special and it definitely made this person’s day! We’re guessing you’ll enjoy every second of it. As it turns out, Bruce Springsteen also makes memories in addition to music!
During his how in Melbourne, Springsteen started chatting with the audience and spotted an Australian boy who held up a sign.
Springsteen asked the boy if he knew how to play the guitar and the boy confirmed it. Then it all came down to less talking, more doing. The boy came up on stage, took the guitar, and showed Springsteen that he had his pick with him.
The audience cheers the boy up, and after they realized the kid was good at it, everyone started screaming with joy.
It must have been excellent to witness such an amazing thing happening! Springsteen shares his mic with the talented young man, and we can’t imagine how proud he must have felt.
Springsteen’s face is a complete delight when he realizes the kid can do it.
As the superstar he is, Springsteen shares the spotlight.
You’ll be surprised because the kid plays guitar very well…and he sings even better! This is an example of what happens when preparation meets opportunity. The guy was ready to play on the spot.
We can’t help but wonder how long he’s been practicing.
Springsteen was visibly surprised, even thrilled to make the song as special as possible. The boy will probably remember it forever. That’s why Springsteen is The Boss. The man is always genuine, which is the reason why he has so many die-hard fans.
We could all use a little advice from Springsteen.
Right in the middle of the song, Springsteen interrupts the performance.
He offers a boy a little advice and remembers how it was when he was his age. So, there goes Springsteen:
“When I was your age, I bought my first guitar and brought it home. Then I realized it wasn’t about how good you play, it’s about how good you look while doing it.”
The famous singer continues to explain how he tried out different poses in front of the mirror and the boy joins in.
Together they pose in a couple of funny ways and the audience completely loves the way things are unfolding. You’ll catch yourself smiling the whole time!
After a little more jamming, they shake hands and the boy goes off the stage.
What a wonderful display of love and kindness! Everyone’s smiling from ear to ear, and the boy even had the presence of mind to get a selfie with Springsteen.
He’ll be telling his grandkids about being on stage with The Boss!
It’s obvious that the kid imagined this moment a million times before, and we’re very happy his wish came true.
If this performance is any evidence, Nathan Testa, the lad who performed with Springsteen, could go far.
If he keeps playing like this, we’re guessing he has a bright musical life ahead of him!
As the old saying goes, practice makes perfect.
