The song “Hello” by Adele is one of the British superstar’s most popular songs and it has been covered countless times, but you absolutely have to listen to this special reggae-style cover performed by a talented brother and sister.

Meet the 14-year-old Rosie Delmah and her brother Nicholas Murray, better known as Rodesha and Conkarah. Rosie and Nicholas are from the Solomon Islands, where reggae is a very large part of their lifestyle, culture and music scene. Conkarah decided to create his own twist on Adele’s “Hello” by giving it a reggae identity and he asked his sister if she would perform the vocals.

The performance of the brother-sister duo is absolutely remarkable.

Creating a good cover version of an already brilliant song isn’t exactly an easy task, but you can definitely see that these two have incredible musical talent.

The cover starts with Rosie singing beautifully, but it doesn’t take long before her older brother Conkarah sets up some reggae beats which takes the cover to a whole new level. The mix of Rodesha’s vivid and crisp vocals with Conkarah’s reggae influences creates a fantastic cover that you absolutely have to hear for yourself.

Conkarah was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and studied at the University of Virginia thanks to the aid of a soccer scholarship. After his studies, he returned to Jamaica to pursue his one true passion: music. The young man has already made quite a name for himself and performed at Reggae Sumfest 2012 on the same day as Jamaica’s 50th Anniversary of Independence.

With currently almost 70 million views on YouTube, this reggae version of “Hello” has certainly gone viral.

“1 MILLION VIEWS on YouTube in less than a month!!! 🙌🙌🙌 You guys are awesome thank you for your ongoing support and love… Big up Rosie Del Mah and the Solomon Islands massive!!!” Conkarah wrote after the video was posted on YouTube back in 2015.

The video has also made headlines, as Rodesha was featured in The Solomon Star, a local newspaper.
