Just because we’re quarantined, doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy great musical performances. People all over have been turning their homes into stages thanks to the internet – including celebrities like John Legend, Keith Urban, and Chris Martin.

But it’s not just superstars who are gifting the world music. One girl from Texas has been brightening up people’s days on social media with her incredible vocal talent.

Kelsey Lane Winslow has been posting videos of her daughter Cirsten singing on Facebook. There’s one, in particular, that’s lighting up the internet.

Cirsten’s viral performance takes place in front of a fireplace at the family’s residence. She’s not alone though. While she sings a stunning rendition of “I’ll Fly Away” she’s got her adorable little brother by her side.

The video was part of a singing challenge.

Taking on an internet challenge is something a lot of people enjoy doing. And now that we’re all stuck at home – it’s really the perfect time to do so. Kelsey decided to help her daughter complete a mission, which involved her singing and posting one song a day.

According to Kelsey, the idea came from her own mom. When posting Cirsten’s first video (who also goes by CJ), she wrote:

“My mom had asked on Facebook whether or not CJ should sing 1 song a day. The response was amazing so here y’all go”

Each day Cirsten created a singing video to share.

She beautifully covered tunes like “Dancing in the Sky,” “Rise Up,” and “Cups.” Then on Day 5, she brought along a little sidekick.

Get ready to have your heart melted by Cirsten and her younger brother.

In the video, both are dressed in Western gear and the music to “I’ll Fly Away” is playing in the background. While Cirsten is the main vocalist in the performance, she sweetly shares the spotlight with the tot.

It’s a rendition that has a twist of country.

“I’ll Fly Away” is a classic hymn that was composed by Albert E. Brumley in 1929. Country artists like Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson, and Joey + Rory all sang it, and rapper Kanye West has a version as well.

Cirsten’s style combines perfectly with the tune, and her talent shines through the moment she unleashes her voice. In addition to singing, she sways and taps along.

The tiny cowboy tries to keep up with his big sis.

As we know, little ones often look up to their older siblings. This can be seen in the video the way the boy tries to mirror his sister’s movements and sing the words to the song. But just when it couldn’t get any more precious – he grabs Cirsten’s hand and she smiles at him lovingly.

Eventually, she takes both of his hands and helps him dance.

Kelsey must have been one proud mama watching the musical performance! In fact, after the video went viral, she wrote on Facebook:

“My heart is so full right now. We had no expectations for this video to reach so many. It is such a heart felt moment seeing two of my kids have fun singing together.”

All good shows need a good ending.

At the very end of the video, Cirsten’s brother grabs his guitar and sits on the fireplace to play. Unfortunately, it’s only for a moment – but it’s a great way to wrap up the spectacular performance.
