Whether you’re amazing at it or not, there’s just no denying how fun and therapeutic dancing can be. And for the really passionate ones, dancing is an escape. These are the ones who unknowingly have people stopping to watch in amazement or even wanting to get into dancing themselves.

From ballet to jazz, to hiphop and contemporary, dancing has a plethora of styles that allows much room for creativity. That’s why freestyle is such a popular trend. It takes away from the rehearsed feel of most dance performances – it highlights raw talent and how confident dancers really are.
Basically, they’re never unprepared.
As if we needed proof of how awesome the art of dancing is, here’s a girl versus boy dance off brimming with so much fierceness and style.
A curious and excited crowd looked on, eager to see what this young man and little lady had in store for them.
Check out the boy’s grin and the girl’s “I’m totally ready to bring it” stance.
Well, the cool dude just had to set the bar high.
He started the dance off with jaw-dropping, signature breakdancing moves.
Without missing a beat, he pulled off some headstands and handstands like a pro.
The girl, who was crouched down, studying his moves carefully, stood up and prepared to give her response to the incredible dancing she had just witnessed.
And respond she did.
She danced to the middle, cool and confident, while everyone on her side hyped her up with their cheers and hand movements.
In true girl boss fashion, she moved right towards her ‘competition’ and began demonstrating her own incredible moves right in front of him.
We just love the combination of boldness and talent in this one!
Showing off some fast-paced footwork backed with a whole lot of attitude, this talented young lady knew she could go head to head in hip hop dancing.
Their audience absolutely loved it.
The boy didn’t let up on the moves when it was his turn. Once more, he broke out the head spins, the one-hand stand, and his freestyle moves. There was even some head sliding across the smooth floor of the dance area!
This prompted the audience to point, yell, and cheer. Talk about letting the aces out!
It was friendly competition done in style.
Both dancers seemed good-natured about it all and didn’t see the dance off as an intense contest that each just had to win. You can clearly see that there was more fun in it all than actual competing.
That’s what dancing does. It brings out your carefree side and encourages you to let loose and just have fun with it. You can show off your dance moves without worrying about what others might say.
It’s really all about finding something that brings you joy; something you can share with others.
It’s a safe place, a creative space, and a passion that can’t be stifled.
