Ahoy and welcome to “The White Marlin Capital of the World.”

Ocean City, aka OCMD, is an Atlantic resort town in Worcester County, Maryland, United States.
Revered as “The White Marlin Capital of the World,” the town boasts high-rise condos and hotels, shark sightings, wildlife, several historical sites like Sandy Point Site, the Ocean Bowl Skate park and last but definitely not least, the famous Ocean City Boardwalk. Originally called the “Atlantic Avenue,” it was consistently hailed as one of the “best boardwalks for food” in USA Today and was rated one of the Top Ten Boardwalks to Visit in the US by National Geographic.
American kid blows the crowd away in Ocean City as he effortlessly sings karaoke to James Bay’s “Let It Go.”

In a video uploaded on YouTube, it was just another fine evening at the beach in the bustling little town of Ocean City when a kid donning a blue shirt, striped shorts and a simple pair of flip flops.

The performance kicked off smooth, with his hoarse voice adding a chilly ambiance to the night as breathy as the rustling sand dancing with the wind.

“Let It Go” is about a love that ultimately went wrong.
The little boy fits the mood of it perfectly, leaning into the sad tone and capturing the attention of everybody who walks by.

The couple was deluded that they were still happy together, yet the guy realizes it isn’t healthy anymore.
Even though the topic is pretty mature for this boy, he still manages to channel the entire spirit of it.
The guy chose to let go and fall to find his freedom, thus he wanted to break up with the girl.
For those who don’t know, the song was initially released as the lead single from Bay’s debut album Chaos And The Calm in September 2014. Clearly, this boy has studied the original song and is doing his own version of it effortlessly.
However, it achieved much more mainstream success when it was re-released on May 12, 2015, reaching #10 on the UK singles charts and #23 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
The English singer-songwriter and guitarist notably performed the song at the 2016 Grammys with Tori Kelly, playing this and Kelly’s song “Hollow.” Both were up for the Best New Artist award, but both lost to Meghan Trainor.
Using a cellphone to look at the lyrics, the kid continued to serenade the crowd as the night deepens.

Throughout his performance, the people whistled and cheered for him, seemingly ecstatic about the kid’s innate talent in singing.
In the second half of the video, a man sauntered over to give him money as a sign of appreciation, in which the kid uttered a shy “thank you” in return earning chuckles from the crowd.

As the kid sings the last few notes of the song, the crowd gave him a standing ovation for his marvelous performance!
Even though nobody was expecting to see such a stunning performance, this little boy delivered it anyway—and his performance still lives on today online as well. Needless to say, this is one of the thrills of visiting a tourist area like Ocean City: you never know just what you might come across.
